- Kekova Island From here you’ll get more and more immersed in history as we cruise over the famous sunken city, a Lycian city left underwater by earthquakes in the 2ndcentury CE. Our guide tells you about the history and points out when to look through the glass bottom of the boat. It is prohibited to swim or stop over the ruins so the boat will continue to move. We’ll take lots of pictures of these submerged stone ruins glittering in the water before heading towards Kalekoy.
- Kalekoy Harbour Kalekoy village, only accessible by boat or on foot, was built on top of and amongst the ruins of the ancient city of Simena. You’ll have an hour of free time here to explore the shops lining the narrow streets, walk up to the top of the castle, photograph the Lycian sarcophagi, or just enjoy some homemade ice cream by the sea.
- Lions Tomb We will see the tombs while we are leaving from Kas Harbour

- KEKOVA TEKNE TURLARI Kekova - Simena is a popular Lycian site, situated upon one of the most attractive spots of the Turkish coast. The name "Kekova" is Turkish for "plain of thyme" and describes the region encompassing the island of Kekova, the villages of Kaleköy and Üçağiz and the three ancient towns of Simena, Teimussa (Ucagiz village )and Shipyard Bay (tersane bay)
- Kekova Island we will see sunken city and some ruins from Lycian Time
- Tersane Koyu Tersane’, the site of an ancient shipbuilding yard. Shipyard Bay where ships were built during Lycian times. There are some ruins along the beach as well as some underwater that you can snorkel over and around.
- Sunken City Ruins of Simena Kalekoy village, only accessible by boat or on foot, was built on top of and amongst the ruins of the ancient city of Simena. We had the most amazing time chartered a private boat for 3 days from Kas via Captain Ergun and his fantastic team on board Mert (Captain) & Busch (Chef). The boat were spacey and clean and functional throughout an entire stay. the bed was comfortable and several lounging areas to relax. The food were absolutely scrumptious from Hardy breakfast to authentic lunch following by fresh produce sizzling grilled with few side dishes. We enjoyed beautiful scenery and stop over at most gorgeous bays and sites that Turkey has to offer. The quality of sleep under the stars, and the sound of waves are something to be remembered. we love the experience and we will definitely come back again with our children.
Just returned from a 4 day trip on the boat Evita captained by Matt and his wife Buschra ( chef ) who were great hosts and food on board was very authentic Turkish , catering to one of our gluten intolerant shipmates and better than some of the restaurants we visited during our stay in Kalkan . Overall , It was an awesome experience visiting many secluded coves - the highlight being night swimming in waters with phosphorescence . Overall highly recommended!
Our family of 7 had the most amazing time with Captain Ergun and Merve. The Mediterranean ocean is stunning the food cooked was amazing the company was great and it’s a time we will truly cherish. Merve is the star of the show. She made the most amazing food and was always there to meet our needs and take care of us from snacks to coffee to beautiful home cooked Turkish food. Captain Ergun put us in the most amazing beautiful bays. I’ll never forget eating a beautiful cooked meal from the bbq with crystal clear waters and goats steering at us. Absolutely amazing!! Sleeping under the stars at night and seeing at least 8 shooting stars was priceless. You will never forget a trip like this in your lifetime. Just like most other customers I’ll be back next summer to explore more bays and to lap up the perfect weather. Thanks again for the awesome time and we will see you again soon
Our family of 4 did the Kas-Kekova trip on the Kekova II. The boat was beautiful, and had plenty of space for the 4 of us plus crew. We made stops in small coves to swim, kayak, snorkel, paddle board and just relax. All of our meals were prepared for us and the food was fresh and delicious. After taking a zodiac into the Blue Cave, we returned to our boat to find Captain Ergun waiting to check in on us to make sure we were having a great time. We also stopped to hike to a castle and have homemade ice cream. The Turkish Mediterranean coast is gorgeous! The water is clean, clear, turquoise and warm. Both the captain and crew member were very experienced and made everything look easy. I highly recommend a trip with Captain Ergun Tours!
Our trip with Captain Ergun and Merve was a truly AMAZING experience! These are just some of the highlights: 1. The comfortable accommodations on his gulet surprised us! There was a place to rest and lounge everywhere! And the place was spotlessly clean. Selcuk, the deck hand never rested! He made sure the place was immaculate. 2. The food prepared by Merve, Captain Ergun's wife was the tastiest we've had in Turkey. The food was varied and recipes well thought of. A lot of the food she served we will try to replicate when we get back to the Philippines, that's how good they were. And she's truly a magician because she can whip up an entire meal for 8 adults without even looking like she was having a hard time. There was always a smile, a kind word for everyone and always asking if everything was alright with us. 3. The places we were taken to were carefully chosen by the Captain. He brought us to amazing coves, ruins, coastal towns several times on that trip. We had some requests as well that he graciously did for us such as hiking the Simena Castle and swimming in the Tersane Bay. 4. Last but not the least was Captain Ergun's professionalism and dedication to his job. We could tell from the start that all he wanted was for us to enjoy our trip no matter what. He always asked if we were enjoying and if we had any special requests as to where to go, where we wanted to have lunch, where to swim etc. He had ready his swim gears, kayak, paddle board and his beautiful drone shots that he took of us on his beautiful boat! There wasn't anything else we could ask for. Those are just some of the highlights of our adventure on the Evita. I guess those who read this will just have to try it out for themselves... It was truly a life-changing experience for us!!!
Captain Ergun and wife Merve were wonderful hosts. The gulet was our home for 4 days and each day was special. Captain took us to several beautiful, breathtaking destinations while Merve prepared homecooked, delicious meals. Wonderful couple. Highly recommended.
On the first week of August, we went on a Kekova tour on Captain Ergun’s boat. As scheduled, we took our deck spot at 9:00 a.m. Very nice boat. A hygienic environment, friendly and courteous employees. The food and drinks were very good and delicious.There was a nice detail that caught our attention.No music on the boat, as in the noisy other tours.When we were traveling, we had great pleasure listening to the melodies of the waves, the tones of the breezing wind.The coves were really a natural wonder and the audio information delivered to us was valuable. THANK YOU TO THE CAPTAIN, EXCELLENT AND WORTHER.
