We did the Red Route tour with Guide Ilayda and it was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and she took the tour at our pace. Ilayda was so personable and was happy to share and answer all of our questions about the Turkish culture additional to the tour sites. We thoroughly recommend the tour and Guide Ilayda!!
Guide Ilayda explained everything so well and made it really interesting. We absolutely loved having her as our guide! She clearly loves what she does, and you could really see it in the way she shared her knowledge and connected with us. She was kind, engaging, and made the whole experience even more special. We truly enjoyed the tour with her and would definitely recommend her!
Our day today was fantastic, our guide ILayda and our driver were excellent and we had great experiences starting with the under ground monasteries and chapels and progressing round the other main sites of this area including learning to throw a pot which was fun and unusual and nice not to have the hard sell at the end of that experience. Lunch was at a Turkish restaurant and was also of equal standard to the rest of our experience with her. We then progressed to the underground city and did some semi pot holing which was also fun and interesting before returning to our hotel via the castle. I Layda was a wonderful and informative guide with excellent English skills and a really good sense of humour which we both enjoyed. We travel quite extensively and use guides quite a bit on our travels if we do know the area well and she is definitely one of the better ones we have encountered. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone considering coming here to visit.
