We had a wonderful experience with Hassan from Under the Moroccan Sun during our visit to the Ourika Valley. What made the experience even more special was that Hassan is a local and has lived in the Ourika Valley his entire life. As we walked, he shared stories about the valley, its villages, and the local way of life, customs, and traditions from his own personal experience. He even pointed out his house to us along the way, which made everything he was telling us feel even more personal and authentic. Hassan took us on a short hike to a beautiful waterfall, with stunning views of the lower Atlas Mountains along the way. He was calm, kind, and respectful throughout the entire experience and was especially attentive during the hike, helping us over the rocks and making sure we were always safe and comfortable while climbing. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, ask questions, and take in this beautiful place. Having a local guide like Hassan made our visit to the Ourika Valley feel much more personal and meaningful. We highly recommend Hassan!
