Our most popular tour is the Monuments and Memorials tour. We have done this tour 100+ different ways, depending on our guest's wishes. This is a tour of the entire National Mall on tricycle and includes the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, MLK Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean, Vietnam and WWII War Memorials, and the White House, as well as other memorials.
We also conduct night tours, which usually include all the amazing lit-up sights (our favorites at night are The White House, World War II, Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt and the Capitol).

Guests will be able to see the White House, either from afar, up close, or both. We also give you a narration about the history of the White House and some of the great men who have lived there.

Stop for photos and an in-depth tour narrative about the most beautiful monument in Washington DC. Our guests will then have an opportunity to go inside the Lincoln Memorial to explore, take photos or admire the views.

We stop outside of the Memorial to talk about Jefferson, the man, and the symbolic construction of this beautiful memorial. Our guests will then have the opportunity to go inside the Jefferson Memorial to admire the views and take photos.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial
we stop just outside the MLK Memorial for a brief narration about the life and significance of this great man. We then invite our guests to go inside the Memorial to admire the MLK statue and the great views around the Tidal Basin.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
We stop right near the entrance to the FDR Memorial for a brief narration about Roosevelt and the symbolic significance of the Memorial. Our guests are then invited to enter the Memorial on foot to explore.

Korean War Veterans Memorial
After viewing the memorial from afar, sightseers are invited to see the memorial themselves, up close.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial
We stop for a brief narration about the Vietnam War and the subsequent construction of the Vietnam Memorial. Our guests are invited to walk through the Memorial to appreciate it in full.

Robert took my 2 kids, my mom and me on a wonderful sightseeing tour around the Washington DC monuments. He is extremely knowledgeable on the history and significance and came prepared with laminated photos and maps. We all had a great time and learned a lot! Highly recommended!!!
Robert is an amazing tour guide! He is so knowledgeable about all the monuments and memorials. He shared many facts about each monument /memorial and also had pictures to complement and enhance the tour. Also, he proved to be extremely patient and punctual! Robert arrived to our hotel 10 minutes before the time of the scheduled tour. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this experience!!

We booked a 2-hour evening monuments & memorials tour on June 23 and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip to Washington DC.Rob and Don were fantastic from start to finish. Communication was lightning-fast, and they were incredibly flexible — we finished dinner early and asked if they could pick us up an hour ahead of schedule. They accommodated us right away with no issues. Rob even spoke basic Mandarin, which made our almost-80-year-old grandma (who speaks very little English) feel so comfortable and included. Their breadth of historical knowledge was impressive, and they tailored the tour perfectly to our group’s interests and pace.The weather that evening was phenomenal, which made everything feel even more magical. We were able to spend extra time at the monuments we loved most. Toward the end, they went out of their way to let us walk up to the Lincoln Memorial without charging extra time as we were winding down — such a thoughtful gesture (we even offered to pay, but they insisted it was fine).The pedicab ride itself was smooth, they navigated the city expertly, and we never felt rushed. They even brought a blanket just in case, though we didn’t need it. This is hands-down the best way to see all the major sights up close and personal, especially with a multi-generational group.We were all amazed and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We will definitely book with Nonpartisan Pedicab again if we return to DC and will recommend them to everyone!
Exceptionally accommodating and good spirited guides made our trip fantastic despite the sauna level heat and humidity in DC, everyone enjoyed our pedicab ride, which is the absolute best way to see the monuments given their distance from each other.
We were thoroughly impressed and happy with this pedicab tour. We saw everything we wanted to see up close and personal, which would not have been possible with a bus or ecart tour. Robert was absolutely the best guide I have ever had on any tour. He was well-versed on the history of the city and the monuments and actually had pictures of what the areas looked like before the monuments, hotels etc were there. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny. The pedicab was able to carry my foldable nitro walker and is easy to get on and off for those of us with mobility issues. This is the way to go especially if there are sites or areas you want to see that are not covered by busses etc.
This pedicab tour was absolutely the highlight of our family’s trip to Washington, D.C. From the very beginning, Robert went above and beyond to make sure we had an outstanding experience. Since there were four of us, he even coordinated with another pedicab driver so our family could comfortably stay together throughout the tour. What made this tour so special was the incredible combination of historical knowledge, storytelling, and customer service. Our guide shared fascinating historical information about the monuments, memorials, and buildings throughout the city, but he also brought history to life by showing us historical photographs of what many of the sites looked like in the past. The visual comparisons added a whole new dimension to the experience. Along the way, he shared interesting anecdotes and lesser-known facts that made the tour engaging and memorable. He was especially thoughtful in making the experience enjoyable and educational for our children, keeping them interested and involved the entire time. The monuments at night were breathtaking, and seeing them from a pedicab allowed us to cover much more ground than we could have on foot while still enjoying a personal, interactive experience. Robert's passion for Washington’s history was evident, and his enthusiasm made the tour both entertaining and informative. If you’re visiting Washington, D.C., I highly recommend a pedicab tour with this team. It was an exceptional experience and easily the highlight of our trip.
