Oversigt
Our kimonos are all with long sleeves, made of silk, authentic kimonos. You can also take selfie photos and movies at our dressing room freely (about 10 minutes). Various Japanese props are available including Japanese umbrellas, swords, fans, fox mask, cherry blossoms with all sorts of flowers.
We can accommodate up to 5 people for Family/Group Plan. Photo prints and data are provided when you leave our studio.

Kimono Princess & Samurai makeover! Damer og piger vil være klædt i luksuriøs silkekimono med komplet og smukt hårtilbehør, da mænd og drenge vil iføre sig Samurai-dragt med sværd! Nyd fotosessionen med os i vores komfortable indendørs studie. Familier, venner, grupper, par, soloer og børn er alle velkomne!

Wonderful experience! For our anniversary, I wanted portraits of my family in a professional photo studio. You can pick your kimono and hair pieces, plus they style your hair and have lipstick and blush available if needed. You can pay extra to have all the copies on a USB too. Would definitely recommend!
The staff couldn't have been more friendly. We enjoyed the photo session. I would recommend anyone taking a trip to Tokyo to sign up for this package and experience Japanese culture first hand. The pictures turned out fantastic.
We absolutely loved our experience with Kimono Photo Studio WA! Our family of 3 booked a kimono experience, and we were helped by the most incredible ladies -- Maho, Hisami, and Chihiro. We were looking for a spot in Tokyo that would take amazing quality kimono photos, while still being affordable, and we are so happy that we found this studio as it was perfect for us. Once we submitted a inquiry form through their website, we received outreach confirming what we wanted and the team was really communicative -- which we appreciate as we had a couple of questions about logistics. The ladies were incredibly patient and helpful during our session, and helped us do everything from picking out the perfect kimono to helping direct us with our poses (even with fun props). Throughout it all, they were so friendly and made our experience such a highlight. Not only were they very kind, but they were also funny and inviting, which made the typically awkward experience of a photo shoot one that was so much fun! We recommend this place to anyone looking for kimono photos, and will be recommending this to our own family and friends as well. Thank you so much to Maho, Hisami, and Chihiro for the beautiful pictures and the lovely company!
My family and I had a wonderful time. It was so much fun and we laughed so much. I have to say it was a once in a lifetime experience! And the three beautiful ladies who ran the photo shoot were so kind, welcoming, and professional. We learned a lot about the history behind the kimono, and the ladies even took the time to speak to my son in Japanese, as he is learning the language. We had a blast and a really good time. I would definitely recommend this activity.

The place is very easy to find, the staff are amazingly friendly, the place is super clean and very spacy, nice background music, supercool staff!!! Highly recommended!!
GO HERE!! This is a must for Japan and such an amazing experience. My husband and I did the Couples Kimono photo shot for our 9 year wedding anniversary. We had the best time and the photographer and stylist were so lovely and accommodating. True professionals and so talented! It took only 1.5-2 hours and we walked away with over 70 photos. Highly recommend!!! There is a reason they have so many five star reviews. Can’t say enough positive things!
I booked the, ‘Kimono Photo Shooting Family and Group Plan in Tokyo’ for myself and my 22 year old daughter. I highly recommend this activity. It was not only fun and informative but also a good value. We were very excited to learn about kimono and to try them on properly in the studio. I did not want to rent a kimono to walk around outside because both my daughter and myself are disaster prone. If there is a coffee to spill or a mud puddle we will find it so this was the perfect plan for us. We were thankful for the detailed directions to the studio and we arrived on time to be warmly greeted by the team. We were able to choose from a lovely selection of kimonos. Next the ladies fixed our hair and suggested makeup touch ups while we chatted. Next was the photo shoot. My daughter loved being a ‘model’ and having her picture taken. I am not used to having my picture taken but I did enjoy myself. While the photos were checked on the computer we were offered a lovely matcha tea and a sweet. We chose two photos to print on 5x7 photo paper included in the activity price. We also decided to purchase all the photo data for 55.00 JPY ($37.00 US) .The data was loaded onto a USB we brought from home. This was a great value and made a wonderful souvenir for my family. Highly recommend.
