It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Barry was our tour guide and he was knowledgable and fun. we made 5 spots with generous samples of award winning chocolate, hard cider special potatoes, cheese and spreads lamb stew and of course a Guinness. walked a a comfortable pace and saw some city sites. Well worth it !!
My husband and I did this tour on a very pleasant day in September and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was Ray and she was fantastic. It was a brilliant mix of tasty food, hearing about the history of Belfast and uncovering some hidden gems in our city. I have never done a food tour before but this has made me want to do more in other cities. You get so much food and it felt like great value for money. I was very impressed by Ray's consideration for all of her group - she was an absolute pro. I would highly recommend this to anyone local or to visiting. Come hungry!
This was an excellent tour. Not only did we sample some wonderful local favorite foods, but also learned the history of the area and explored some of downtown Belfast. Our guide, Liam, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend this tour.
This was one of our favorite if not our favorite cruise excursion. Rosie, our guide, led us through a very busy Belfast on the last day of the international music festival. It had all the markings of being a bummer...rain, unusual crowds, cold in August. Instead, it was a highlight. Rosie was on time, kept us on schedule and worked with disruptions caused by the crowds at the individual vendors. The group we were with (also from the cruise) was fun which added to the experience. Rosie's knowledge, background in tourism and understanding of the food and culture have motivated us to plan a return trip to Belfast. Highly recommend.
Liam was fabulous and not only knowledgable but personable. Clearly connected to the city and the local scene, he also knows how to tell the stories. The food shops/stops were great and the tour is well worth it. Highly recommend.
Rae was knowledgeable and fun! Lots of delicious food, drinks and Dublin history was shared. A must for every visitor!
We took this tour on June 18 with Liam. It was a rainy day but the tour was fabulous. Liam gave us an outstanding overview of Dublin and it's food and drink scene. All the locations we visited were amazing and welcoming. The food was awesome. Thank you, Liam, for making our day in Belfast memorable!
