Ganztägiger Skikurs (6 Stunden) in Yuzawa, Japan

One of the best ski schools I have experienced! Instructors are passionate, friendly and encouraging. We had private classes with Katherine and Luc. They are both great and able to come up with some useful tips in helping us to sharpen our skills. Special thanks to Patrick: super responsive and detail-oriented. I have never encountered any ski school admin like him. Excellent services! We will definitely come and have classes with the team again! Thanks again! We really had a great time!

Our instructor Lucy taught us for 3 days and she’s the best ski instructor we ever met with good observation on our different ski capacities and able to give very practical advice accordingly. My children have moved from green slope to red in just 3 days . What a marvellous experience and it was not just about learning how to ski but also a truly memorable family time all together.

Our 5th time of training with Mike in Jan 2023, right after most of the restrictions of COVID were laxed and international flights started resuming. Three years not even have a touch with snow, we were particularly cautious and tense. Mike took only an hour and a few runs to tune our muscles and regain the feelings on the snow which already exceeded our expectations (he emphasized that we and our feet should try feeling than solely thinking and forcing to the postures). Having trained with him for a number of times, he knew we were flexible yet sometimes greedy to learn different skills, thus he wasted no time to led us 'feel' on various terrain and snow surfaces in the 3 day class, first day to recap and tune, easy and lovely powder ski in the morning on the second day based on the weather, basic carving drills in pm, and a mix of different landscape on the 3rd day such that we all felt so contented. Last but not least, it was so precious of him to keep sharing his knowledge and experience to assess the conditions of snow pack, snow drift and weather, and how we should plan a ski route or what to determine if we should ski an ungroomed or off the piste area. This kind of information is very minimal and superficial for Asian recreational skiiers as we got far far less experience on big mountains and steep landscapes. We cannot be more thankful for what he shared in the training. We would definitely come back and ski with Mike and the ski school, and in Yuzawa + Ischiuchi...

I was a bit nervous about going for a 4 day ski course but I must say we were truly lucky. Our coach was Dominika and she's an amazing teacher. At the end of the first day, our daughter Renee loved her and the next couple of days were amazing. She was truly great with Renee and extremely patient with us. I'm not the easiest learner but the way she taught me and got me to ski was truly a great learning experience. By the time we reached the last day, I was enjoying skiing. Such a great teacher. And the best thing she did was making us feel relax and enjoyed the learning process throughout the entire 4 days. We hope to see her again next year in Yuzawa. As a first time skier, I had a great experience with Vega for 5 days. She is a patient, friendly and professonal coach. She explained the posture in details and encouraged me a lot. Although the snow condition is not so good, I still had a very great time with her. I was very tense and nervous at the beginning, but Vega helped me to overcome it. In short, not much fear, lots of fun. If I am coming back for my second time of skiing, I will definitely have Vega again.
