Cozy Tokyo Class: Ramen, Sushi, Sake Pairing & Cultural Exchange

Such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the class feel truly immersive. I loved that we weren’t just learning how to make food—we also learned about Japanese culture, traditions, and the meaning behind the cuisine. We made our own nigiri with several different fish options, then went through the full ramen-making process with the opportunity to customize our toppings. We finished the experience with a sake pairing, and they even gave us chopsticks as a farewell gift! Fun, hands-on, informative, and delicious. This was such a memorable way to experience Japanese culture and definitely one of the highlights of my time in Japan. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this cooking class and would highly recommend it. Our three instructors were incredibly friendly and patient, and they explained every step clearly in excellent English. With three of them guiding us, we always got help right away when we needed it. We learned to make both ramen and sushi from scratch, and the results were delicious, better than some restaurants we visited! Beyond the cooking itself, we really appreciated the cultural insights into Japanese food traditions and everyday life, which made the experience even more meaningful. A fun, hands-on activity that's perfect for families and first-timers alike. Absolutely worth it!
