Recorrido gastronómico para grupos pequeños por Ouseburn con recorrido por el túnel Victoria

Today we arrived for our tour of the Victorian tunnel. Mick was our guide he was unbelievable and made the whole experience absolutely perfect in every way. Can’t recommend this enough worth every penny! Who would have thought that mere tunnel could be so incredibly interesting but that was all down to mick nick !!! Thank you so much we will be back. Lesley was a fantastic tour guide! I’ve worked in Newcastle for. Few years but I’ve never been to Ouseburn before. Each food stop was fantastic, particularly Miso and The Cookhouse. The food and drink was absolutely fantastic and there was so much of it! Lesley was so knowledgable, added a personal touch and super kind and friendly.

A birthday present for my husband. Started the tour with Lesley at the Victoria tunnel with a very interesting journey into the tunnel with our guide Kev. Then onto 4 different food venues around Ouseburn and Sandyford, all very different and delicious! A lovely way to spend the day, would definitely recommend.

Leslie was our guide. She was very knowledgeable, fun and patient - we were a big group . Really enjoyed doing the tunnel tour and all the food we tasted in the various venues. A lovely variety of food to try and each place had a very unique atmosphere. Delicious black pudding at Brinkburn Brewery , excellent main course dishes at Miso - loved the Japanese fusion flavours, and the best chocolate brownie at Ernest's. Thank you Leslie !

We did this tour on a cold and wet December afternoon - but it didn't really matter! A warm welcome from Lesley was followed by a tour of the Victoria Tunnel guided by Trev who made the whole thing much more interesting than we had imagined. We then had a short walk further down into Ouseburn and went into a local brewery where we were served the most fantastic black pudding and two small glasses of their beer - a real treat. Then to a Japanese restaurant next door who prepared a number of small plates of food cooked in the Japanese style - a most welcome change from the standard sushi etc so we'll be back! Then further again into Ouseburn to a restaurant in the Michelin Guide for the last several years. There we had a large number of small plates, all of which were quite special and delicious. We enjoyed our walk afterwards up to the Biscuit Factory where we had our desserts. The prefect end to a perfect day. We had thought that this may be one with too much food and too much drink - we were quite wrong. The food and wine served to us at each location was quite sufficient but by no means over the top. Our guide Lesley was from the area and enhanced the whole experience - a real canny lass!
