Situé juste à l'extérieur de Chattanooga, le Middle Ocoee mérite son titre de "voyage fluvial le plus populaire d'Amérique" avec des rapides passionnants continus et de grandes eaux éclaboussées dans les Smoky Mountains du Tennessee. Les participants doivent avoir au moins 12 ans pour ce voyage intermédiaire. Tous les mineurs (17 ans et moins) doivent être accompagnés d'un adulte lors des activités de descente en eaux vives. Ce voyage dure environ 3 à 3,5 heures, avec 1,5 heure sur la rivière et le reste du temps en préparation du voyage et en navette. Ce voyage n'inclut pas de déjeuner au bord de la rivière. Habillez-vous pour vous mouiller et portez des chaussures qui resteront bien en place sur vos pieds - les tongs ne sont pas des chaussures appropriées. Apportez des vêtements secs et des chaussures après votre voyage, des vestiaires et des douches sont disponibles. Par temps frais, évitez de porter des cotons épais ; portez du synthétique ou de la laine.

This is our second trip with Nantahala and our third trip rafting. They are organized, efficient, and very safety minded. Our guide, John K, was awesome! He knew it wasn't our first time and would ask us how we wanted to go down certain spots ie. forward, sideways, spinning, if we wanted to flip the raft (only at the end). We were able to customize our experience to make it as wild as we wanted it. My boys had a blast!
This was the second year our group of four booked with NOC for our annual fraternity reunion, and once again, they delivered an unforgettable experience. We chose the Middle Ocoee High Adventure trip, and Jordon was an amazing guide who knew exactly how to keep us safe while making the trip exciting, challenging, and incredibly fun. It was pouring rain as we prepared to launch, but just as we set off, the clouds parted and the sun appeared—as though the river knew it was time for an adventure. This is not your grandmother’s leisurely float down the river. This is the kind of trip you will still be talking about years from now—and telling your kids and grandkids about someday. If you want to get wet, laugh until your sides hurt, and experience the Ocoee with some of the best guides on the river, book with NOC. We are already planning our trip for next year, and this time, we plan to take on the full-day adventure!

Our experience with Jessie and NOC was excellent. She's a great guide and made the trip down the river a really fun experience for everyone in our group. My husband is not a big fan of water adventures, but even he loved the experience and felt 100% safe. For the rest of us who enjoy activities with some adrenaline, it was enough to give us a taste of real white water rafting and left us wanting to try another trip with NOC. It was only about a 20 minute drive to the launch point, and for those who care about these things, there were bathrooms at the start and the finish of the rafting part, as well as changing rooms and restrooms at the outpost. We are all looking forward to doing this again another year.
