Villa le Corti
Notre premier arrêt de la journée est dans une belle cave appartenant à l'une de nos prestigieuses familles aristocratiques italiennes. Ici, nous dégustons trois vins accompagnés de salumi (charcuterie) - mais d'abord, il y a une visite guidée fascinante des caves historiques et du moulin à huile, que nous atteindrons par des tunnels souterrains qui passent sous la villa

Maintenant, attachez votre ceinture et préparez-vous pour une partie de tout-terrain à travers des forêts anciennes et des collines vallonnées. Montez à bord du véhicule 4x4 et admirez le magnifique paysage, des cyprès aux fermes et églises rustiques, alors que nous nous dirigeons vers Rignana, un restaurant et un domaine viticole typiquement toscan avec une vue imprenable. Préparez vos papilles gustatives pour un déjeuner composé de plats délicieux et de vin rouge (et d'une dégustation à l'aveugle d'huile d'olive). Vous ne voudrez plus partir !

L'aventure continue alors que nous continuons notre route à travers l'incroyable campagne en route vers notre dernière étape de la journée. Ici, vous visiterez l'impressionnante villa et entendrez parler d'événements incroyables qui se sont produits ici au cours des 600 dernières années et des familles célèbres qui ont vécu ici. Vous aurez le temps de vous détendre et de vous promener dans le magnifique domaine, en vous imprégnant de la beauté et des vues uniques, tout en en apprenant davantage sur le vin avant de vous asseoir pour la dégustation finale de trois vins accompagnés de fromage. La fin parfaite d'une journée vraiment inoubliable.

This tour was amazing!!! We went to two wineries and had a delicious lunch at a farm house. Sara was a fantastic guide! I would highly recommend!!!
We took private wine tour and we were picked up at our hotel in Florence. We were greeted by our guide Sara and our driver Giuseppe. Sara was very informative about the wine and how it is made and we were brought to three wineries. One wineries had a restaurant where we had a lovey lunch. The wine tasting had meat and cheese to go with the wine. The area is beautiful and it rain the day we were on the tour and Giuseppe did excellent job driving on the back roads. This tour takes about 6 hours and it was such a nice day seeing all the country side. Thank you Sara and Giuseppe for such a wonderful and memorable day.
The moment Fabio met us at our house we knew we would be in for a great day- he’s exceptionally energetic, engaged in great conversation, and we also took what was a master class in the wines of the Chianti region with our guide and level 3 Som. Both winery visits were intimate encounters with welcoming staff. Our first stop at Principe Corsini included an introduction to the family history, as well as the traditions that the winery and prince carries on, including the wines innovated by his later son (who tragically passed way too early). The second stop after a terrific lunch and tasting at Fattoria Rignana (with a welcoming host as well), was at Poggio Torselli. Our host was a young Som and we thoroughly enjoyed his conversation and instruction as well. We were even greeted by the estate’s homeowner, a charismatic and humble Pasquale Cusano (who works in the gardens and on the grounds- look up his bio). He and my wife enjoyed a great conversation (and I’m glad she didn’t run off with him😉). Fabio was the consummate guide, equally friendly, interesting, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Fabio and his capable driver, Labi.
This was a terrific experience if you want to visit a beautiful winery, have a scenic drive throughout Tuscany followed by a delicious lunch. Our guide Sarah was outstanding--she was knowledgeable in every way!!!
We didn’t have a car, but wanted a day out of the city during our weeklong stay in Florence. This tour was perfect. We were about a dozen people, hosted by a very attentive and helpful guide, her name was Oz. We were driven to a gorgeous historic villa, where a wealthy family makes wine and opens their home and production facilities to small groups like ours. We enjoyed a wine tasting after visiting the grounds and cellar, then were driven through the gorgeous Tuscan hills to a country restaurant with views to die for. More delicious Chianti, followed by a family style meal served in one of the most beautiful locations ever. If I’m being super picky, I’d say the food there was not “wow”, but everything other aspect of this tour was so good that it didn’t really matter. It was simply a lovely day and very much recommended.
The best time ever. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Italy. Our tour guide Fabian was incredible and so knowledgeable about the city, wineries and history.
We took the Wine Safari and it was amazing!!! Our guide Sara was the most wonderful guide we have ever had. She knows a lot about wines and loved everything we learned from her. She is funny and very helpful. The tour gets you to wonderful wineries and we had lovely lunch in one of them. Fabio our chofer was wonderful too. This tour I recommend a lot. You see the Italian country side which is incredibly beautiful. Loved everything!!!!
Alex took us into the countryside to two amazing wineries. We had an incredible lunch at the first. Both places were welcoming and informative. The entire day was perfect and Alex made sure we had the best time. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Highly recommend booking with Walkabout.
