We were All Ways Adventure repeaters this summer. We had a wonderful experience back in March 2023 - our first experience rappelling. We had so much fun, felt safe, and what I had thought would be out of our league for future adventures as a family seemed possible. A couple of years later, we took rappelling lessons back home in Minnesota. And then in 2026, we were lucky enough to get permits for the Subway hike in Zion. I reached back out to All Ways Adventure to schedule a day to refresh and learn new skills before we went out on our own into Zion’s backcountry. Nathan showed us new options for tackling various obstacles and really helped explain “why” to pick one strategy over another in different situations. On top of having a fantastic day with Nathan at All Ways Adventure, we had everything we needed to confidently hike through the Subway. This is a wonderful company for anyone looking something fun to try as a family or anyone looking to develop technical rappelling skills. The best part of this company is that they will arrange the day based on what you want to do, what you want to get out of the experience.
What a GREAT experience! We booked a two-day guided tour with All Ways Adventures in Zion National Park and had a wonderful time as a family of 5. Day 1 was the classic Angels Landing hike, and Day 2 was a “guide’s choice” adventure exploring remote slot canyons away from Zion’s crowds — we didn’t see another tourist and drove less than an hour to get there — where we learned to rappel down cliff faces. All Ways Adventures provided far more than just a guided tour. Our guide, Jillian, was awesome! She was one part safety coordinator, one part geologic historian, but also a great skill teacher, insightful therapist to (at times) nervous humans, and by the end of the trip nearly part of the family. If you’re looking for a private, family-friendly Zion National Park tour with slot canyon rappelling and expert local guides — you can find a bigger tour company, but absolutely no better experience than All Ways Adventures.
Incredible 8 hr private tour with Gillian. We had the canyons to ourselves. They were so private and remote. Exactly what we needed. Gillian was great and knowledgeable. A must do with this operator.
We had a great experience with our guide Nathan from All Ways Adventures. He was kind and patient with each of our family members as we traversed through the slot canyons. He did a great job explaining everything as we went. Our family had a blast and was sad for it to end. The company and guide were easy to communicate with before hand and while getting scheduled. They answered all our questions and were accommodating to our needs. Thank you!
This was our first time canyoneering and it was incredible! Our guide Darren did a great job customizing the trip to our family’s experience level. He was a really thorough and patient teacher and helped us all feel confident trying something new. I loved that it was a private tour which meant we never felt rushed or bored. I would highly recommend All Ways!
We had a large group of unparented children and high maintenance adults and All Ways Adventures handled us well. It was a lot of fun, and we got to repel multiple times. One of our participants conquered her fear of heights and was able to successfully repel down (have a funny story to tell them to keep their minds off the fear!). Some kids needed help and the guides tandem repelled with them. We were able to repel side by side our spouses/friends. It was a lot of fun. Thank you for having patience with our group!
Absolutely incredible experience. Canyoneering was the HIGHLIGHT of our week of adventures. The tour guides, Nathan, Jillian, and Blake were exceptional with providing laughs, safety, knowledge, and we felt their love that they have for the area. We had a group of 13 and they handled it splendidly. We will be back in October and can't wait to book our next adventure with All Ways Adventure.
Our family of seven chose the 7-hour guided adventure with Brett and Nathan, and it exceeded our expectations! Our kids, ranging in age from 11 to 17, loved every minute of the experience. The combination of breathtaking scenery, exciting challenges, and the opportunity to avoid the crowds typically found in the national parks made this a highlight of our trip. It’s an experience we would enthusiastically recommend to others. Brett and Nathan were outstanding guides—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. Their sense of humor kept everyone engaged, and their expertise added so much value to the day.
