What a beautiful day and experience. We were greeted by the staff and my husband and I sat outside. There the table was already prepared for our wine tasting and different paring to have with each wine. The wine tasting was delicious and the Cretan choices matched perfectly. Then we took a tour of how the family owned wine cellars and how they make their wine. We couldn’t leave without ordering wine to ship to the USA. They made the purchase effortlessly and quickly. We now share this smooth wine with our family and friends. Thank you for sharing and making us feel at home. We look forward to coming back soon.
Wonderful winery and really friendly staff. Organised at short notice for a lunch tasting and they were very accommodating. Wines were great and unique for being all organic. Food was tasty too!
We had an amazing time! The price totally gave us everything and more! With an variery of foods provided by the wines we totally got to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wines. We didn't feel rushed, and were able to take it all in. The staff is very kind and excited to tell all about their process of making the wines during the tour and tasting. Earlier in the morning it was quiet, with just a few other people. Within just 2 hours we got to learn more about them as a business and wine made in Crete. We truly recommend it for people visiting Crete and are interested in wines!
We had an absolutely perfect afternoon with the folks at Domaine Paterianakis. Their hospitality was top notch, the facility is absolutely beautiful and of course the wines are exquisite. Unlike some tasting experiences at other wineries, it is a very welcoming environment, not stuffy in the slightest. My wife and I visited with our three pre-teen sons and they treated them like kings. I only hope we can visit them for another tasting before too long!
The experience was a great small winery with lovely scenery and great wine.
Lovely relaxing setting. Tried 5 lovely wines, all organic. Mostly dry wines which I prefer. Interesting tour of the grounds. Wish we were hungrier to want to eat as the food looked good. Perfect excursion for cruisers.
Such a wonderful holiday activity to have booked, I’m so happy that we did! The wine tasting was so interesting and was explained and hosted so brilliantly with the perfect level of attentiveness. The food, cooked by the family’s mother was absolutely beautiful, everything was so fresh and paired perfectly with each wine. The shop allowed us to buy two of our favourite bottles and the absolutely beautiful tomato jam that was presented with the meal. I’d absolutely do the whole experience again and recommend to anyone. Thank you for having us!
Wow what a place - the views are to die for a couple this with some amazing Cretan wines you cant get a better combination. The owner who guided us through was so lovely and it was really interesting hearing about the vineyard and the family. Would highly recommend
