Luxury Giza Experience: Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids & Sphinx

We just got back from a great day exploring the Pyramids and GEM museum. We highly recommend Amr as a tour guide for Egypt. He's very professional and knowledgeable. We also appreciate his honesty and flexibility. A part of professionalism, Amr is also very friendly and easygoing.

I spent two incredible days in Egypt, and the experience exceeded all expectations. On Day 1, I toured the iconic Pyramids of Giza, marveled at the majestic Great Sphinx of Giza, explored the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum, and rode a camel through the desert. We ended the day with a delicious and authentic Egyptian meal. And that was only the first day! On Day 2, we visited the beautiful Mosque of Muhammad Ali, explored the fascinating National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (home to the royal mummies), and enjoyed a peaceful felucca ride along the Nile River. Every moment was meaningful and unforgettable. This journey has truly been a treasured experience. I gained rich historical knowledge and deeper insights that go far beyond what you can read in a textbook. I made memories that will last a lifetime — and I also made a great friend. Amr is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely fun to spend time with. His care goes far beyond professional obligation. As a native, he understands the inner workings of the local tourism scene and always made sure I was comfortable and protected from being overcharged or taken advantage of. For example, at one point a vendor asked me for a tip after I had already tipped another vendor for the same service. Not realizing this, I generously tipped the second vendor as well because I didn’t have smaller bills. Without me even saying a word, Amr noticed what had happened, stepped in, and recovered the extra money so the vendors fairly split the original tip. That level of attentiveness and integrity meant so much to me. I cannot recommend Amr highly enough. If you want a knowledgeable guide, a smooth and stress-free experience, and someone who truly cares about your trip, he is the person to book.

We toured with Amr who was excellent. Very knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic. Amr could speak well to the exhibits and sites, answered all of our questions. It didn’t feel at all scripted or just “another tour”. We felt he enjoyed his job, tailored the experience to us and we had a great time. I had a great day tour where we visited Sakkara, GEM and Giza. Communication with Amr was very efficient and easy, he catered to all my requests. The pickup from the hotel was very punctual and the drive to Sakkara was quick and smooth. As requested, we left the hotel at 7 a.m. and spent the whole hour in Sakkara enjoying it all to ourselves! That was an amazing experience! We then went to GEM where Amr very efficiently led me through the halls, showcasing the main highlights and afterwards provided me with an opportunity to roam on my own for as long as I wanted. All in all, Amr is all you could wish for from a guide: very knowledgeable, very forthcoming and flexible. The information he shared with me was really interesting and insightful, no touristy nonsense and he always provided exhaustive answers to all my questions. Amr knows the best photo spots and he patiently took plenty of great pictures for me :) Last but not least, I felt very safe with Amr which I was very important to me: no sellers of souvenirs, tomb guards or photographers ever bothered me.
