Jim was an exceptional guide! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Perge and Aspendos. It was like having our own personal archaeologist guiding us through these sites and their histories. We really appreciated that Jim took the time to immerse us in the experience of two sites, rather than rushing through many sites. We highly recommend this tour!
30 May 2026 – Our tour with Cem was truly a boutique experience — the group was intimate (ours had just 3 people) and the itinerary was exceptionally well curated. Cem is incredibly knowledgeable, and it was clear that he and his business partner had put a great deal of care and thought into every aspect of the tour. While this tour is priced higher than the generic alternatives for Aspendos and Perge, it is absolutely worth it. You spend more meaningful time at each site, with Cem sharing insights and hidden gems that larger tours simply don't have the time for. There is also ample room to explore at your own pace under his guidance, and the tour is intentionally scheduled to avoid the crowds – unlike many tours that visit the same sites at the same time. Another highlight is that the itinerary skips the waterfall stop that most tours include, making for a much more rewarding use of limited time in Antalya. Logistics are seamless too – Cem checks in with you the day before to confirm arrangements, and pick-up and drop-off are straightforward and convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more personalised and immersive experience!
Fantastic and unique experience. We learnt so much about the sites and about Turkey. Jem was an excellent and very knowledgable guide. We were able to spend time exploring the sites without crowds and also do some added extras like walking up to see the aqueduct from above. This was beautiful. Highly recommend booking this tour if you are in Antalya.
I did this tour with my 85 years old mother and we both enjoyed it very much. Cem is a fantastic guide, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Both sites were even more impressive than we imagined and it was so relaxing to enjoy them without crowds. We encountered some traffic jams on the way back, but the minibus driver was very good and calm. I highly recommend this tour!
Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Cem is knowledgeable and specialised in Perge and Aspendos — he could point to a fine detail and tell you exactly the story behind it! Cem is also enthusiastic about ancient history which definitely helps when it comes to deciphering aspects of the Roman sites. Overall Cem is extremely friendly and really made my day!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cem from Societas Viatorum! I was looking for an afternoon tour of Perge and Aspendos, and Cem made it happen even though it was just the two of us. He also went out of his way to help us arrange another tour and transfers to Pamukkale and Selcuk. The tour itself was brilliant — informative yet relaxed. We had plenty of time to explore the sites at leisure, and Cem’s knowledge and enthusiasm brought every stop to life. We saw details that most tours miss, and his local dining tips were perfect. Thanks to Cem, we left with amazing memories, photos, and a genuine appreciation for the area. I would book this tour without hesitation. Five stars!
This was an exception tour. Cem was an amazing tour guide with so much knowledge which we lacked In other tours. It was nice to have time at Perge and Aspendos and be able to see the sites at a slower pace. It was so nice to see the sites in the evening. Made for great photos. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see these two amazing sites without being rushed to the next site.
This tour is a must do when visiting Antalya. Perge and Aspendos are such important and fascinating sites that deserve to be explored with a guide like Cem. I highly recommend this tour.
