The House of the Virgin Mary
A representative will transfer you to Istanbul Ataturk Airport. After a short flight to Izmir (50min), you will be picked up by your guide at the Izmir airport. After you have been welcomed you will drive to the Ephesus to visit historical sites. Your first stop is the House of the Virgin Mary stop the Solmissos Mountains, where it is believed Mary spent her last living days. Should you wish, guests are allowed to pray and light candles.

Ephesus Ancient City
Then head to Ephesus, enjoying a downhill walk into the ruins of the once glorious Roman city. Explore sites of huge historical significance, including the Bouleuterion, Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsus, and the Great Theater.

Our tour was phenomenal! It was a beautiful day, our tour guide Emine was super knowledgeable about the history of Ephesus and answered any and all questions we had during the tour. The walk through Ephesus was gorgeous and we got to take plenty of photos and experience the wonderful museum on site. The carpet weaving was probably my favorite part, and I got to contribute to a carpet being made! Ending the day with the Turkish bath and massage was absolutely perfect, and I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. The day went seamlessly and I couldn’t recommend this tour enough!!
