Kay did a great job of being informative while engaging. We feel we learned a lot about the city and where we would like to go next. It was really great and although warm outside she did a great job during the 2 hrs of incorporating cool locations as well.
Kay was so fun, personable and informative. We learned so many interesting things about the history of Charleston and she knew answers to all our questions. Would highly recommend doing this tour next time you visit Charleston!
Kay Abrams was the best! when I was in Charleston last year, I looked over and saw Kay talking to a group of people giving a tour. I love the way she was talking to all of them and I said to myself I want her to give me a tour someday. Well, I booked a tour with her for me and my friend and she was absolutely the best. she was so helpful in giving me directions, she was prompt and gave us a great tour. She was so informative and I loved how she spoke as if she was there during that time. I loved how she had her little goodies in her handbag. She had electrolytes for us, she had bug spray for us, and her knowledge of the history was phenomenal. I especially was drawn to her love for the city and all the people in it. She was so upbeat and loving to all the women making the sweet grass baskets and had lollipops for them and gave them a kiss. She was so attentive to the beautiful women walking by in their Southern outfits with their hats and she complimented them. I am definitely going to book another tour with her and I think anyone who is looking for an informative, relaxing, fun time should book their tour with Kay!
Kay was a high energy tour guide who clearly enjoys what she does. He broad in-depth knoledge of Charleston was impressive. Look no further. This is the walking tour of Charleston to take.
