Pasabag Vadisi
I camini delle fate sono la caratteristica più famosa e iconica della Cappadocia. Queste formazioni rocciose a forma di cono sono formate dall'erosione e sono una meraviglia naturale unica. Cappadocia
Situata nella Turchia centro-meridionale, la regione lunare della Cappadocia, a sud-est di Ankara, è famosa soprattutto per le caratteristiche geologiche uniche chiamate camini delle fate. Le grandi formazioni coniche sono state create nel tempo dall'erosione della cenere vulcanica relativamente morbida che le circonda. Pigeon Valley
Una sosta fotografica alla Valle dei Piccioni è una parte popolare dei tour turistici della Cappadocia e un itinerario tipico potrebbe includere anche il Castello di Uchisar, Pasabag, Avanos o il Museo all'aperto di Göreme. I tour diretti a sud verso la città sotterranea di Derinkuyu o verso la valle di Ilhara si fermano anche a Pigeon Valley. I viaggiatori possono anche percorrere il sentiero di 4 chilometri tra Göreme e Uçhisar; il sentiero attraversa la Pigeon Valley e offre viste spettacolari sui camini delle fate.

The accomodation and tansport arrangement was very good. The tour leader, Ali is very knowledgable and accomodating. We enjoy our time in Turkiye. The agency managed to bring us to all the must see places.

Too many shopping stops (3) and a very mediocre lunch. On the plus side our guide was knowledgeable and answered questions asked. The driver was very smooth not slamming brakes, etc.
Picked up at 9.10 and made so many stops, for apparently no reason, my husband decided guide was moonlighting as local postman. Got to Pigeon valley 10 minutes away at 10.30 had two minute talk and left to wander, no info on where we were, when to be back at bus. I listened to a very informative guide from another group give a very interesting talk whilst our guide vanished somewhere. Next stop Monks Valley. Couple of two minute talks, did we want time for shopping? then left to wander. Had to ask when we needed to be back etc. And then of course there was the unscheduled stop at the pottery where we were deposited with the staff to watch a guy make a pot and wander round a shop for 45 minutes. Next the underground city which was very interesting, although the guide got into a shouting match with another tour guide, and then an unscheduled lunch stop at a buffet cafe on a roadside full of other tour groups. By the time we got to the Goreme Open Air museum it was 4.00 very hot we were once again given the opportunity to shop before another 5 minute talk and told to be back at bus at 4.45. Three stragglers were five minutes late at which point the guide stormed off to the bus muttering he was going without them. In an 8.30 hour day we spent roughly 3 and a half hours at sights all within a 30 minute drive of Goreme. I can't believe how bad it was. When we got back to town the guide jumped off the bus not even expecting a tip ...even he knew how bad it was.:) We should have just got a taxi.
Tour guide was definitely worth it. Pigeon Valley is an amazing view of the valley, Goreme open air museum was awesome, Kaymakli underground city is breath taking
