One of the best experiences we have had and we have done plenty. Olive was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. He made us (solo mum and son) feel so comfortable. I can not rate this experience enough. The village we stayed in was mind blowing. Something that you will only experience once in a lifetime. Both my son and I would recommend this 100%. We bathed the elephants, we walked to and from the village, stopped for breakfast, i forgot to mention that the food was super delicious. We rafted visited amazing secluded waterfalls. Best experience ever!!!
Went on the trip for this long weekend, the weather was getting cooler, it was an amazing hike. Got to see the local ways of living, really love the trip!
It was a true miracle when we were given the number of Nicky because we couldn’t have wished for a better two days spent with him and his friend, Sunny. When Nicky came to pick us up in Chiang Mai on Friday morning we were already charmed by his kind smile and funny jokes. He drove us to the local market before starting off with our first day of trekking. What an already lovely way to start this trek! We then started walking through the beautiful Thai forest with a stop at a wonderful waterfall where we had a delicious lunch prepared with love by Nicky and Sunny! The walk was truly breathtaking, we walked through the forest, next to waterfalls and in rice fields. All along the trek, Nicky and Sunny were teaching us about the flora and fauna of thailand. They even made us beautiful hats from leaves 😉 They had overflowing energy which they spread to us despite the warmth. In the afternoon we arrived in a small village we were hosted by locals in a stunning place. The atmosphere was wonderful, we cooked, laughed, and shared a beautiful time. We were able to help Sunny prepare a delicious dinner! We never devoured a dish so quickly in our lives. The next morning, yet again, Nicky prepared us a delicious breakfast before taking off for another day of walking. This time we walked a bit longer but it was not too tiring because it was relatively flat and less steep than the day before. On that day we stopped at 3 breathtaking waterfalls we were able to swim each time. Once again we had a delicious lunch. And to top this experience off, the cherry on top of the cake was the bamboo rafting across the river we we even saw elephants and baby elephants !! We were truly amazed by these 2 days. Nicky and Sunny were amazing and we truly couldn’t have wished for anyone else. We are so so happy to have done this and we will definitely be recommending them to all our friends coming the Chiang Mai!!
We were fortunate to embark on a 2-day/1-night trek in Chiang Mai with our amazing guide, Nicky. From start to finish, it was an incredible experience! From the beginning, Nicky was very professional and attentive. We visited an elephant sanctuary where we learned a lot about these majestic creatures and their conservation. It was a powerful and moving moment. Our overnight stay with a host family was an authentic and warm experience. Their hospitality was remarkable, and we felt right at home. The meal was delicious and typically Thai, a true culinary immersion! Throughout the trek, Nicky shared a wealth of interesting information. His deep knowledge of the region and its culture made every moment captivating. Thanks to him, we discovered magical and preserved places, far from the beaten path. This trek will remain in our memories forever. We loved every moment, learned so much, and created lifelong memories. Thank you, Nicky, for an unforgettable adventure in Chiang Mai!
We had an amazing time with Sunny. He has been a great guide with whom one feels directly at ease and with a lot of touching little touches. It is a real ray of sunshine that made our holiday in Thailand unforgettable.
Super 2 day trek with Nicky! We find the real Thailand far from tourists We discovered a real elephant sanctuary, hiked in the Thai jungle off the beaten track and were able to swim in 2 beautiful waterfalls without anyone else. We were able to sleep in an authentic Thai village and eat local cuisine We were able to admire real rice fields. And end the stay with bamboo rafting, quite surprising I highly recommend!!! Thank you Nicky!!!
