I would like to mention ibrahim specifically for his exceptional hospitality. He made us very comfortable and made us feel safe on the boat trip he would constantly check up on us and even use translate to communicate there was never a moment we didn’t feel welcomed.

My tour began by being picked up by Mr. Waheed at my hotel in Cairo. The prior communications from NiceTours were excellent. Nice Tours shared the name of the drive, a picture of the car, and the arrival time with me. (A very important detail given all the random taxi drivers that approach me every time I leave the hotel or some other venue in Cairo.) Mr. Waheed was punctual, friendly, and professional. I felt very safe during the ride from Cairo to Alexandria. Mr. Waheed stopped at a halfway point to allow me to get a cup of coffee and stretch my legs. He even accompanied on a walk over to McDonald’s so that I could review their menu. McFalafels! Who knew? We proceeded on to Alexandria and picked up my tour guide, Alaa. She was also very friendly and showed me around the catacombs, the library, and the citadel. Alaa was very flexible in allowing me to alter the schedule slightly to have lunch at the end of the tour. Alaa shared a ton of knowledge about the three sites. She was very patient with some of my mobility issues. Alaa brought me to a lovely fresh seafood restaurant with a gorgeous view overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. After lunch, Alaa was so accommodating in accompanying me to a pharmacy to pick up some much needed over the counter medication. After dropping off Alaa, Mr. Waheed drove me back to Cairo. He was very flexible in dropping me off at a different hotel near the airport for a minimal additional fee. This saved me a lot of time and an additional Uber ride. All in all, a really great day!
