Gentle cruise over Kekova’s Sunken City beneath the waves

A really enjoyable and relaxing day out. Picked up at our hotel promptly at 9.30 for the rather rough jeep ride in a very old vehicle for the 40 minute drive. The sail took place even though there were only 7 of us so feeling like our own private tour. Beautifully peaceful sailing round the lovely bays (no blaring music on board). The itinerary was as described and the lunch delicious. The boat was well appointed with good clean facilities. The day was well organised by friendly guide Dogukan and to be recommended.

It was an amazing tour. What we liked about it was, that it was without any music, so you can enjoy the nature while listening to interesting facts about the historical enviroment. Swimming in the different turquoise bays was the highlight of our trip to kas.

It was a nice and calm experience without the music, just us and the sounds of nature. I also want to acknowledge the hospitality of the boat crew and the delicious food.

My sister and I had a great day when we booked with Xanthos Travel for our Sunken Citycruise. Great swimming stops, deliciious lunch friendly staff. But the best part was our guide, Baran, who was extremely knowledgeable on the archiological aspects of our tour. Thank you for putting up with my unending quesions, Baran. Such a friendly and helpful company to deal with. Highly recommended for your Kas adventures!

We had a very beautiful day, the visits are interspersed with refreshing swims. A big thank you to Nabil for his fascinating explanations about the Lycian civilization. He took the time to give us a complete presentation in English even though we were the only English speakers, after his explanations in Turkish. Congratulations and thank you to him.
