Smooth and Fun Taste of Santorini Private Tour

Markos was personable, energetic, positive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Cruise ship operations seriously delayed our tour and yet he was able to rearrange the schedule to fit in everything we wanted including wine tasting, visits to quiet authentic parts of Santorini and a wonderful lunch at a seaside restaurant. He got us out of the tourist areas to see more than the touristy part of Santorini, while sharing insights about Greek society and culture. His stint in Germany and his higher education made his English excellent. In our opinion the extra cost was worth it (he is a bit more expensive than others). Markos was a lot better than our cruise sponsored tours.

He made the tour genuinely fun and engaging for them, sharing fascinating facts about Santorini’s geology and history in a way that was both educational and entertaining. They were captivated the whole time! Santorini itself was absolutely breathtaking — dramatic cliffs, whitewashed villages, and deep blue sea views everywhere you turned. But having a local like Markos guide us made it even more special. Highly recommend booking a tour with him — especially if you’re short on time or travelling with kids. Absolutely a gem. Markos is a passionate, sharp guy, well educated , super knowledgeable guide. He has an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable by the time we left the town of Kamari. Markos has very comfortable car to further enjoy your experience, more than well worth the money, he does not watch the clock like you are on a schedule . Do yourself a solid , get a tour scheduled learn the island early in your trip to enhance your vacation. Danke.
