概要
Peering up in awe at monolithic steel and glass towers, one can’t help but feel small. Capture that feeling in your photographs, juxtaposing tiny human forms against cold and sterile structures. Contrast the artificial and man-made with the organic—hints of nature and human life surrounded by the Tokyo metropolis.
What We’ll Shoot
We will learn how to create compelling images of architectural elements and the people that populate the city’s concrete environs. You’ll be coached on using composition concepts like leading lines, negative space, and juxtaposition. We’ll practice using these techniques to convey a variety of narratives.
Where We’ll Explore
Our journey will begin in Shiodome—a district walled in with glass and steel skyscrapers. From here we will head to Ginza, famed for its broad avenues lined with intricate examples of avant-garde architecture. Afterward, we will end up in Yurakucho where we will explore the innards of the monolithic Tokyo International Forum.

Booked the tour due to a long layover, no regrets! The guide was extremely patient, and friendly. I felt in capable hands, learned so much about night photography in general and how to take interesting travel/city shots. He recommended food places in area and helped me with my travels to the city. Really enjoyed it and recommended for single female also.
Charles did a great job explaining how to setup, what to look for and how to adjust the settings for the perfect shot. Overall I learned a lot about exposure, symmetry, and reflections and it was much easier since Charles is fluent in English. I wish I took this tour earlier into my Tokyo trip.
Had a great morning visiting well-selected spots for urban photography. Our guide helped with advice on composition, timing, and camera settings.
Tokyo is a huge playground for photography and I've always wanted to have the time to take pictures of this megalopolis. I took part in a session (Tokyo Metropolis) with Charles as my guide, and I can't recommend him highly enough. Knowing that I came with my Ricoh GR3 and an IPhone16Pro, he adapted to my setup and showed me the city from another angle. It was a wonderful experience, and on my next trip to Tokyo, I'll be booking another session. Thanks again Charles

This was an excellent tour around the top street photography spots around Tokyo, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect outing! Another great photographic experience by Eyexplore. This workshop is the perfect complement to the Cyberpunk/Night workshop. Both together provide a great way to experience Tokyo by night and day through the guidance of a talented photography. I highly recommend it.
By far, the best experience I’ve ever had in Tokyo. Will take a trip down to Tokyo again just for the photo walks and workshops.
