Myrtos Beach

Melissani Cave
Melissani lake is a wonderful underground lake with sublime stalactites, where some kind of worship of God Pan took place in historical times. When illuminated by the sun’s rays, sublime colors are reflected on the lake water. Its about 50 minutes road until we reach Melissani Cave and the attraction is 30 mintues.

Antisamos Beach
Antisamos beach, the famous beach from the movie “The Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”, which reveals the magic of Kefalonian landscape. The route fascinates visitor, as we cross one of the greenest parts of the island with towering pine trees. We will stop at an appropriate place to take some photos. The beach is pebbly with white sand and surrounded by green hills. The waters of the beach are azure crystal. The beach is organized with snack bar, sun loungers, umbrellas and water sports. Always honored with the distinction of a blue flag.

Drogarati Cave
Drogaratti Cave, οne of the largest and most beautiful natural sights nearby Sami. According to archeologists, Drogorati Cave is aged over 100 million years. The depth of the cave is about 60 meters, with an average temperature of 18 °C and fairly high humidity (90%) . Its about 15 minutes road from Melisani Lake to Drogarati Cave and the time spent in the attraction is 30 minutes.

We had an absolutely incredible day exploring Kefalonia with our guide, Kostadinos! From the moment we started, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. He took us to so many amazing places around the island, including some beautiful spots that were perfect for photos. What really made the experience special was the depth of his knowledge — he seemed to know something about every aspect of Kefalonia, from its history and culture to the local way of life. His genuine passion for the island came through in every conversation and made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the day and came away feeling like we had truly experienced Kefalonia rather than simply visited it. Kostadinos went above and beyond to make the day memorable and it was without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip. We couldn’t recommend Kostadinos highly enough to anyone visiting Kefalonia. An unforgettable experience and a fantastic guide — thank you for such an amazing day!
An excellent day out, visiting the places we wanted to visit and spending enough time to visit them properly. First, staying in Karavados, not many companies would pick us up from here. Spiros of Kefalonia Tours was prompt in responding to initial enquiries and helpful in arranging the details of the day. Konstantinos our guide and driver arrived on time and we confirmed where we wanted to go. He was very friendly and we got on well whilst he told us about some of the local history together with anecdotes about the different places and local folklore, helping to bring the places to life. Konstantinos was helpful with a flexible schedule, if we wanted to spend a bit more time in one place and less in another. He was an excellent driver and was able to take us closer the heart of places, which bigger coaches would not do. He also knew good locations for taking the best photos! And then, even at the end of our day out, Konstantinos kindly took us to a delicatessen (and speaking Greek) enabled us to taste some local family made cheeses. We arrived at our destination on time, having had a memorable day exploring Kefalonia.
Our guide Konstantinos was such a good and Kind guide. His explanations were interesting and concise. The itinerary is so complete that you will have a wonderful visit on Kefalonia island.

A perfect day with Konstantine
It was amazing Konstantinos guided us through the tour and did so good he is very funny and kind. We had an amazing time and he explained the history and interesting things of kefalonia.
Konstantinos was an amazing guide! We spent our day with him, he was so kind, knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond. He took the time to show us even more than we could have imagined. I highly recommend this trip. We could take our time when we wanted to as well! The convenience of a private small group surpasses everything else. If you can make a request, ask for Konstantinos! You will not be disappointed!
