Discover the magic of Athens on a leisurely night walk through the city's most enchanting neighborhoods. As the sun sets and the crowds fade, your local guide- an experienced sommelier will lead you through Plaka, Anafiotika, and other hidden corners where ancient history meets romantic ambiance. With a small group of no more than 8 guests, you'll enjoy a relaxed and intimate exploration of the city, illuminated by soft lights and rich stories. The evening concludes with a curated wine tasting at a stylish local wine bar, where you'll sample four premium Greek wines, each paired perfectly with fine cured meats and artisanal Greek cheeses. Your sommelier-guide will share insights into the native grape varieties, regions, and tasting notes, making this a memorable and flavorful end to your Athenian night.

A great “mini-tour” of key sites near the City Center, followed by a wonderful wine tasting experience, customized to our wine preferences.
Excellent and informative walk through central Athens taking in the Zeus temple, botanical gardens, parliament building and the Plaka district to name a few. The tasting of Greek wines accompanied by cheese and charcuterie rounded out the evening. Penny , the tour guide, is knowledgeable and friendly. Would absolutely recommend.
Fabulous and informative evening with Penny. We walked past some of Athens old sites and through the Plaka area to where we had the wine tasting. The wines were delicious as was the cheese and meat platter. Would highly recommend.
Penny was a wonderful hostess to show us around her Athens and introduce us to Gyros & Loukoumades. She truly gave us “The Flavors of Greece” as well as an excellent overview of so many historical sites in the city. Her style is warm, bright, gracious, patient, and highly informative. A fabulous evening walking around vibrant Athens.
I had a great experience on this tour. Since it ended up being just me, it felt very personal and relaxed. Walking through Athens at night was beautiful, and the wine tasting was definitely the highlight. The knowledge shared about the Greek wines, including the history, regions, and tasting notes, was explained in a really engaging way. I learned a lot and would highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers.
