Begin your Florence cooking class in your local host Cinzia's home with a freshly prepared Tuscan appetizer! Then roll up your sleeves and learn to cook regional Italian pasta from recipes passed down through generations of Cinzia’s family during a hands-on Tuscan cooking class. Choose when making your booking between a cooking menu that includes either three handmade pastas and sauces (cut pasta such as pappardelle or tagliatelli, stuffed pasta such as tortellini and gnocchi) or one pasta and a meat main course. You will also learn to create a seasonal side vegetable or dessert with either menu. End your meal with a traditional Italian dessert you’ve created such as a tiramisu, panna cotta or brutti ma buoni ("ugly but good") biscuit and hazelnut dessert. Enjoy learning about the tricks and techniques involved in cooking Italian family recipes before you sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare. Your meal includes prosecco and wine. Please note that Cinzia can host a max of 6-7 guests in her kitchen. If there are 8 or more guests, she hosts at a different venue in Florence. She will send you the exact address upon booking confirmation for larger groups.

Cinzia was a delight to spend time with. A patient instructor, an excellent chef, and a sparkling conversationalist (and a fine soprano!). We had a spectacular evening learning about tagliatelle, herbs, cheeses, seafood, bruschetta, panna cotta, etc. and the proper way to make and enjoy each. Cinzia has our highest recommendation!

Cinzia is literally the MOST AMAZING person, she made our experience so so special. She was so welcoming and kind, and so informative, my kids said it was like cooking with a friend. The food was amazing from start to finish, and she easily balanced helping both kids and adults participate in the preparation. Even the pickiest of our family ate every bite. Oh my goodness we loved Cinzia and her entire energy. Her home is tucked back a little, so tricky to find, but she was right at the entry of her building waiting for us. We loved learning how to cook authentic Italian dishes on her patio with her-it was a really unique experience. She is very sweet, very relaxed and really gave us the confidence to cook our dishes/make pasta back home. Would definitely recommend this experience for couples or small group!

We had the most incredible experience led by Cinzia!! She brought us on a curated tour of food shops around Florence and provided great recommendations for other places to see and visit around the city. She was sure to ask our preferences at every step as we chose fresh ingredients to cook for dinner at her beautiful home. We made ravioli with pecorino cream and shallot pear sauce, chicken fricassee with asparagus, and panna cotta with brown sugar strawberries. Everything was so delicious and Cinzia was an excellent teacher— we will definitely be revisiting these recipes at home! It was so lovely meeting her and getting to know her on this trip.
