In the heart of your vineyard, we will explain your profession, your history and your way of working the vineyard and wine. From the earth to the cellar, we will share with you the gestures and choices that shape your cuvées.
In the cellar, you will discover the different aging containers that we use: amphora, thunderbolts, stainless steel or barrel tanks.
The tour ends with a guided tasting of three wines from the estate.

Discover our organic farm property, Château Grangey, a family estate since 1953. In the heart of the vineyard, come and explore your job, your daily life, and the connection we have with the land. During the tour, we will tell you the history of the estate, share your approach and explain how each gesture contributes to the development of our wines. In the cellar, you will have the opportunity to discover the different types of containers that we use for breeding ... Each choice is considered and adapted to each wine, respecting its identity. The tour will conclude with a guided tasting of four wines. A simple way to show the impact of each method on our wines and taste what we seek to express, without artifice.

Don’t miss this experience, it is completely worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable, charismatic, kind, relatable, respectful and detailed. The other guide was also very kind in the few interactions we had with him. The tour is very efficient, you know everything about their production and winemaking process without walking kilometers like in other vineyards, so it is perfect if you have kids or bring someone with limited mobility. Their wine is worth being part of your cave collection, it is artisanal, exclusive, elegant and for sure will satisfy you if you are a Saint-Émilion lover.
We had a wonderful experience visiting the château Grangey. The tour was very interesting and gave us a great insight into how the vineyard works, from growing the grapes to producing and aging the wine. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wine, and explained everything clearly about the different stages of wine production. The wine tasting was the highlight of the tour, we had the opportunity to taste several wines and discover their different aromas and flavors. The explanations made the tasting enjoyable, even for people like us who are not wine experts. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Saint-Émilion and looking to discover red wine from the area.

Well.. that was a real treat! I learned a great deal and tasted some truly delicious wines. A new door was opened to me today - Cabernet Franc is not a grape I was familiar with. But now I’m hooked! Thank you for showing me around today
We visited Chateau Grangey as part of an e-bike tour organised by Bordeaux Wine Trails. We really enjoyed hearing directly from Franck, the winemaker, about the history of the château, the winemaking process and the various challenges that the weather can present for winemakers. We tasted a number of excellent wines and were pleased to buy a few bottles directly from the château.
There are so many wineries in this region that its hard to know where to start. We did a tour and tasting here at this third generation, family-owned winery, organised through our Backroads cycling trip. The tour was only very short but we were shown the barrels and an explanation of the wine-making process (in English). Although we were in a large group, it was well-organised for the bigger number so that we could all hear and no-one was short-changed on tastings. Overall, they had a very welcoming manner, with warm hospitality.
We've done lots of wine tastings all over europe, this place was lovely and the 121 experience with Yannick as a great host was unique and very informative. Far better than other big group tastings. It was our highlight in Saint Emilion and holiday in France. Highly recommend a visit to this vineyard.
Our visit to Château Grangey was the highlight of our vineyard tour in the Saint-Émilion region. The wines were excellent, just like the guided tour and the quality of service. Upon our return, we ordered wines directly from the estate, and once again, the purchasing process, service, and delivery were impeccable.
