Meet your guide or dive master at the jetty and board the boat to Si Amil Island. The exact travel time depends on the sea conditions and your boat's speed.

Arrive at Si Amil and spend your first and second session snorkeling or diving. The island is known for its clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and stunning rock formations. such as potential seeing manta rays, rare macro critters, rhinopia, frogfish, blue-ring octopus, sea-horses among other. do take note tour operator doesn't guarantee any specific marine life encounter.

Enjoy a surface interval on the boat or beach (depending on the tide) and have lunch on the island. There are no resorts, restaurants, or facilities on Si Amil, so food and water must be brought by your tour operator.

Move to a different spot around the island for a third snorkel or dive. The boat will head back to Semporna once the tour ends.

- If a traveller chooses the free dive option, they must show a valid diving certificate or PADI approved license when they arrive; otherwise, there will be no refund.

- The tour goes on, rain or shine, unless the government says otherwise.

Had a wonderful 3 island day tour with Sea Gypsies, found their tour office at the jetty with easy instructions from the company, we were also able to leave our luggage with them as we had already checked out of our accommodation. There were only 6 people on the boat (5 of us), we were the first boat to leave in the morning and what a difference that made, we were always one step ahead of the crowds. We had the climb up Boey Dulang to ourselves and didn’t come across other tourists till we were nearly down again, same with both the islands. We snorkelled straight off the boat at two different reefs which were both amazing, seeing turtles, eels and plenty of reef fish. Overall a great experience with the two crew members who never made us feel rushed, we had plenty of time to snorkel and enjoy our lunch and again felt like we had each stop to ourselves. Just as a side note, after seeing photos of the Semporna Jetty on social media and expecting to be shocked by the rubbish in the water, we were pleasantly surprised that it was quite clean when we were there. A big cleanup had been undertaken a few weeks prior (as read in a local news article) mainly by the young people of Semporna and those who’s livelihoods are determined by tourists, well done and hope everyone can contribute to make a difference, it didn’t go unnoticed.
