The Apostle Paul story in Thessaloniki tour

Our excellent and knowledgeable guide Giorgos, took us through the most interesting, historical and beautiful parts of Thessaloniki. I really enjoyed this tour. He was very thoughtful about planning stops for the necessary, finding us shady places to sit while he spoke, and making our street crossings safe. His Biblical knowledge of Paul in Thessaloniki was very thorough and accurate. He also shared findings from archeology to add extra information.

Bravo to Giorgos for a wonderful and inspirational tour following the footsteps of Paul through Thessiloniki. As we walked through different spots in the upper city, Giorgos shared from his Biblical and historical knowledge of Paul's life and his bringing the Gospel message to Thessiloniki. He was able to bring out little known facts about Paul's life which are backed up either by documents and/or tradition. By giving us the cultural and historical background Giorgos helped flesh out some common misconceptions about the Apostle Paul's journey. His story-telling style brought the Biblical narrative alive. He painted a picture of Paul as he truly was, a devoted follower of Christ.

My husband and I thought the tour with Giorgos was fantastic! It was the highlight of our visit to Greece. I wish he had been our guide for the other locations we visited. Giorgos' knowledge and passion were evident as he shared significant insights into the life of Paul and his visit to Thessalonica on his second missionary trip. The pace of our tour was just right. He was engaging and expertly wove in relevant Bible passages, allowing time for questions and further discussion. Giorgo clarified what are known facts and what is tradition or speculation. It's apparent that Giorgo does his homework, continuing to investigate new discoveries and incorporating them into the tour. I walked away with a greater appreciation for Paul and his ministry and how Thessalonica (and Greece) fits into the spread of the gospel in the world. I would highly recommend Giorgo's tour and will personally seek him out for future visits to Greece. Thank you, Giorgo!!!
