Stella/Chizuko added so much insight and information to our visit to both the town and the tuna market. Liking tuna fish as much as we do, the info really helped us understand the industry. Her command of English made it very easy for us.
Stella's audio tour guide for Tuna Auction Market in Nachi-Katsuura was superb. I did the self guided tour and it was easy to navigate the audio track. I was able to watch the early market auction, learn the history of the town and later meet Stella in person over a lovely tuna sashimi breakfast. I highly recommend doing this audio guide tour if you are free in the early morning.

Stella gave us a fun and informative tour of the amazing tuna market. We learnt a lot about what is involved in the whole process of catching and selling the fresh tuna - not frozen - for which Katsuura is famous. Stella even organised a tuna bowl for us to take away as we had to run for our train. Possibly the best tuna sashimi I have ever had!
