The Karnak Temple
'S Ochtends zal onze Egypt Tailor Made-gids u begeleiden om de twee enorme tempels aan de oostelijke oever van de Nijl te bezoeken. De eerste is het Karnak-tempelcomplex, dat een enorme mix van vervallen tempels, kapellen, pylonen en andere gebouwen omvat. De bouw van het complex begon tijdens het bewind van Senusret I in het Middenrijk en ging door tot in de Ptolemeïsche periode. Het is een enorm openluchtmuseum en de op een na grootste oude religieuze plek ter wereld. Het is voornamelijk een plaats om de Thebaanse triade te aanbidden (Goden Amon, zijn gemalin Mut en hun zoon Khunso).

Luxor Temple
De Tweede Tempel is de Luxortempel, waarvan wordt aangenomen dat het een van de oude Egyptische festivals was die in de tempel werd gehouden, omdat er verschillende scènes op de muren zijn die de viering van het festival vertegenwoordigen. Het binnenste deel werd gebouwd door koning Amenhotep III, terwijl het buitenste deel werd gebouwd door koning Ramses II. Na het betreden van de tempel vindt u een moskee genaamd (Abu Al-Haggag) die is gebouwd op de ruïnes van een kerk die in de tempel is gebouwd. Aan de achterkant van de tempel staan kapellen gebouwd door koning Thoetmosis III en Alexander de Grote.

Temple of Hatshepsut
De dodentempel van koningin Hatsjepsoet, het wordt "het heilige der heiligen" genoemd. Het is een van de beste architectuurgebouwen. Het bestaat uit drie niveaus die met elkaar verbonden zijn door hellingen en heeft verschillende scènes op de muren die de goddelijke geboorte van de koningin en haar uitbeelden Commerciële expeditie naar Punt Land De tempel is voornamelijk gewijd aan het aanbidden van de oppergod Amon-Ra

We spent three days touring Luxor - 2 days on the West Bank and 1 on the East Bank. Our guide, Hamdy, was excellent! He was knowledgeable and entertained all our questions. We learned so much about ancient Egypt and modern Egyptian culture. The drivers were great too. Egypt Tailor Made was responsive and easy to work with. We also did a day in Cairo. Our driver and tour guide, Haythum, picked us up at the airport and we jumped into an awesome day at the pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. We were in good hands the entire trip! Would highly recommend. They also arranged an hot air ballon ride for us and a hotel transfer. Our family of four agrees Egypt Tailor Made - made our trip fantastic!! An added bonus was supporting the local economy by booking with a local tour agency.
Shimia Arabie was our tour guide for 3 days in Luxor! She was super fun, energetic, has great english, kind, smart, she really knows what she is talking about and she is passionate about it too! It was fun getting to know Shimia! We are going to miss her! The best tour guide! She helped us with everything and made sure that we were always okay! I would highly recommend her! We are going to miss her! She was also funny and very polite!
Shamiaa Rabie, was an outstanding guide! Definitely 5 Stars! She guided with enthusiasm and a smile. Her English was excellent and she had a voice I could hear and understand. She was very informative but did not over burden us with unnecessary details. Shamiaa was always punctual in her appointments and very helpful in her suggestions and providing safety's tips. She was always with us and helped us make purchases in the markets. We would highly recommend her for any guiding activities!
Another amazing day with Egypt Tailor Made! Ghada was a great tour guide, with many stories to share. She knew all the best spots in Valley of the Kings, and took pictures of me so I didn’t only have selfies. She took care of me like an auntie, making sure I wasn’t too tired and ensuring I arrived back at the airport safely. Thank you for a great day Ghada and ETM!
Taylor made tour, tailored to our own needs! It was perfectly planned out and that credit goes to our cousin! Our guide worked incredibly hard to explain thousands of years of Egyptian history… and we worked equally hard trying to understand their accent. 😅 Together, we made a great team! Despite the language challenge, their energy and dedication made the tour unforgettable.
It was an excellent experience! Shimiaa, our guide, arrived at the hotel right on time and shared the full history behind everything we were seeing. She also gave us plenty of time for photos and even pointed out the best spots to take them. Highly recommended! Our driver was also fantastic—he kept the car cool with the AC on and stayed on-site so we could safely leave our belongings behind. Coming back to a refreshing car made the day even better.
The whole thing from start to finish was exceptional Rania, our guide was so knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic that she made the while trip come alive! Rania made sure we did not miss out on all the places we wanted to see and took care to explain in a way that we easily understood the complex stories without overwhelming us with information. Omg!!!!!!! What the wonderful time in Luxor. It could not be possible without Egypt tailor made!!!!!!!!! We were there 3 nights and got arranger 2 fully days with trips. Everything was perfect. Car, driver and the best guide ever Rania Raouf!!!!! Remember this name!!!!! Such a encyclopedia!!!! This lady knows everything about Egypt ( 2 masters and PhD). She put it all together. Made a short repetition from Old and Middle Kingdom and then started with New Kingdom ( Karnak Temple,Luxor Tempe and Kings valley). I could listen to her for hours.
