Experience by the US sector is the best way to visit and understand the Dday sights and do a duty memory tour.
Your tour guide will explain you all the objectives of the Allies Army on that most import day in the year 1944.
Come back into the History and be able to follow the footsteps of the US soldiers along your journey in a confortable air conditioned mini bus with a maximum of 8 persons.

Pointe du Hoc
De rangers beklommen een klif van 90 / 100 voet om de Duitse kanonnen te neutraliseren die op D-day vochten tegen de Duitse tegenaanvallen en stand te houden tot na twee dagen het herbeleven kwam.

Bloody Omaha, dit was de bijnaam die aan het Franse strand werd gegeven nadat de golven een rode kleur hadden gekregen (het bloed van de soldaten). Je leert waarom deze aanval zo moeilijk was voor de 1e en de 29e ID.

Arromanches-les-Bains
Mulberry B : Naamcode van de kunstmatige haven die de Britten in dit kleine vissersdorpje gebruikten om de voorraden naar de slag in Normandië te brengen. Dit is de plek waar de puzzelstukjes bij elkaar komen.

Cedric made our D-Day experience amazing. We were traveling as a family (13/10) and he kept them engaged. His passion for history shines and he’s able to explain what really happened vs. the Hollywood version. He picked us up from our hotel and had lunch and drinks available. Cedric made our day in Normandy absolutely perfect. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the sacrifices the Allied soldiers made in Normandy and also shared stories of those who lived it. He took great care of us, making sure we were fed and comfortable. We are so grateful!
We toured the D-Day beaches and Mont Ste Michel over a two day period. Cedric did a wonderful job of sharing stories about people in the war (famous and not well known) to help bring history to life. He was extremely knowledgeable and even drove many of the routes the armies took in the war. It was amazing to see such beautiful places with tragic backgrounds. Cedric was friendly and accommodating the whole time and ensured we had great tours. I believe I learned more on the tour than in school! I would highly recommend Normandy Excursions and Cedric. In fact, I’m sending some friends his way next month. I’d definitely schedule a tour again!
