Three Bells of Fira iconic viewpoint

Monastery of Profitis Ilias
Het Profetenklooster Elias ligt in het zuidoosten van Santorini, nabij het dorp Pyrgos, op de top van de berg Profitis Ilias. Het is gebouwd op een hoogte van ongeveer 567 meter boven de zeespiegel, waardoor het het hoogste punt van het hele eiland is en dus een plek met een geweldig uitzicht!

Perivolos Beach ligt aan de zuidoostelijke kust van Santorini. Ongeveer 12 km van Fira ligt dit prachtige stuk zwart zand tussen de badplaatsen Perissa en Agios Georgios. Imerovigli

We only had two days on Santorini and the private tour with Dimitris was the perfect way to see the island in a personal and relaxed way. The tour lasted about 4 hours in his very comfortable, air conditioned car. Dimitris has great conversational skills and chats and listens intently making your tour highly personal. He seems to know everyone on the island (!) and waves and toots at locals as he passes by, and knows the people at the places you visit. The experience feels a million miles away from the commercial offerings of the Island. Dimitris knows how to avoid the congested bottlenecks and quiet parking spots right where you need to be. After the tour, we had a wait of 6 hours for our ferry. Dimitris let us use one of his lovely properties to freshen up in and store our luggage, even providing transport to and from Oia for a meal and then onward to the port for our ferry. An outstanding experience and a truly fantastic and genuine guy. Don’t even hesitate to book this trip. It really is the best way to see what Santorini has to offer and meet Dimitris who will make your experience memorable. Thank you so much Dimitris and hope to meet you again!
We had a fabulous and unforgettable Santorini experience, all thanks to Dimitris. From the start, he helped us plan a perfect day trip from flexible options at best prices. He flexibly added the Akrotiri site visit upon request. It was the personal touches that made it truly special: a quick stop at his home to taste the sweetest blackberries and see the unique local vines, a peaceful monastery visit, and buying shell jewelry from his spiritual friend near the Red Beach. Dimitris always responded promptly and even drove us to and from the airport. He also took great pictures and gave us fabulous lunch/dining recommendations that saved us so much time. With him, we felt less like a tour guide and more like a local family member or friend. Overall, it is not at all an understatement to say that Dimitris is providing the 10-star experience that Airbnb’s Brian Chesky talks about.
We initially booked Anemi house, a beautiful cave apartment in Oia on the cliff. Demitris reached out offering other travel services. We were very impressed by all the personal services we received. Airport pickup and drop off. We travelled almost 24 hours before arriving at Santorini. The driver was waiting for us right outside the baggage claim. He helped us with the bags, offered bottled water, then drove us in a nice car to Oia. Then Jonny helped carrying our bags down the winding path to the apartment. On checking out, Jonny picked up our bags again, and stored them till the time to the airport. If you want a hassle free way to travel in Santorini, this is the way to go. Private tour. Dimitris took us himself on the tour. We visited multiple panoramic views of the island, churches, and red and black sand beaches. Dimitris shared the history, plants, and geology of the island. We even got to visit his home and his vineyard! It was his passion about the island that made our trip memorable.
My husband and I had a great time touring around Santorini end of May. We felt like VIPs. Thanks to Dimitris who felt like family. We toured the whole island in comfort , not rushed and without getting caught in traffic.He knows the ins and outs of the whole island and knew where to re route. He took us to beautiful caldera vistas in Imerovigli, the southernmost in the island Akrotiri Lighthouse , Monastery of Prophet Elias of Thira, town of Fira , Red Beach and more. He was not just our driver and tour guide, he was also our photographer! His tour is well worth it because he will go above and beyond. We also met his lovely wife and cute daughter as an added bonus! Besides the tour, he took care of our airport pick up and drop off. Making sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We miss Dimitris with a big heart! We met as strangers but we left as brothers! That was the highlight of our Santorini experience!
We had the best tour around the island! Dimitris is an excellent guide! We did the afternoon tour with our 2 kids, and we all had a great time. We had some friends staying on the other side of the island. Dimitris made it possible to stop there and have a dinner- he is so helpful and friendly! Best tour ever! My husband and I got married in Santorini 10 years ago and we wanted to come back to celebrate. Dimitris gave us a private tour of the island and all of its hidden gems that we would never think of or knew it existed. He was so personable and knowledgeable. His bubbly personality was so contagious. Dimitris even made sure we stopped by our wedding venue and took pictures for us. Best day spent in Santorini and discovered the island beauty.
