Luxurious Photoshoot in Venice

★★★★★ If I could give Daniel six stars out of five, I genuinely would. My fiancée and I traveled all the way from Texas to Venice, Italy, for our trip, and I found Daniel online while trying to find the right photographer to capture our engagement. We had never worked with him before, we aren’t from Italy, and honestly, I didn’t have everything figured out. I was trying to coordinate the proposal, the timing, the location, and all the little details that come with such an important night — and, to be honest, I was pretty anxious about getting it right. From the very beginning, Daniel was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. He was willing to work around our schedule, understood exactly what we were hoping to capture, and most importantly, he understood the significance of the moment. That made a huge difference. I work with photographers regularly through my career, so I have a pretty good appreciation for what separates someone who simply takes good photos from someone who is a true artist. Daniel is the latter. He has an incredible eye, understands lighting and composition, but also understands something that is just as important: timing and people. He knows when to step in, when to let a moment happen naturally, and how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. After the proposal and reveal, Daniel could have easily said, “We got the shots,” and called it a day. Instead, he continued helping us, suggested additional photos, and took us around to capture more of the moments and locations we wanted. He gave us far more than we ever expected. And then, what really stood out to me — the following morning, Daniel took the time to meet with us again and help us get additional photographs in some of the locations we wanted to capture. He absolutely did not have to do that, and it meant a lot to us. He genuinely cared about making sure we walked away with the photographs we had envisioned, even though we hadn’t necessarily had everything planned out ourselves. That level of effort and personal attention is rare. I honestly feel like Daniel delivered significantly more value than what we paid for. I almost felt guilty because the experience, the talent, the amount of time he gave us, and the final result far exceeded what I expected. In my opinion, Daniel could easily charge more for the level of service and talent he provides. More importantly, he helped make an already emotional and somewhat nerve-wracking night even more special. We will have these photographs for the rest of our lives, and I’m incredibly grateful that Daniel was the person behind the camera. If you are traveling to Venice for an engagement, a proposal, a family trip, or simply want someone who genuinely cares about capturing meaningful moments, I would highly recommend Daniel. You’re not just hiring someone to take pictures — you’re hiring someone who understands the moment, knows how to capture it, and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have memories you’ll actually treasure. We were so lucky to have booked Daniel for our family photos in Venice! Daniel is friendly, patient and professional. As soon as I made the booking on Viator, he contacted me by text to touch base and gave me tips on the shooting. Our shooting started off near the Rialto Bridge and ended in San Marco Square. He is really a local and knows all the good insider spots to take us for photos with unique Venetian background. He was also patient with kids, and made our whole shooting journey so enjoyable.
