Multi Day Private Tour Of Scotland

Dave and his partner gave my husband and me an incredible vacation. We trusted Dave to plan our itinerary, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Our only complaint was that the trip wasn't longer! They were knowledgeable, flexible, and offered wonderful recommendations for dining, shopping, and local experiences that made our trip even more special. Dave was excellent. He worked with us to come up with a travel plan. We went from Dunkeld to Oban, across to Mull and Iona and back to Edinburgh. We stopped at all the sites we wanted to see and Dave added on a few more that added to the experience. Dave’s partner Lieke was with us and she was equally warm and inviting. They provided a historical review of the sites and guided us as to where we should go. It provided us with lots of time on our own. The hotels Dave chose were very good.

Dave is a true professional (don't let him fool you). In every possible way: planning, communication, flexibility, demeanor, Dave was exactly the person I would want as our Scotland guide. Perhaps one of Dave's most underrated (unheralded?) qualities was his driving skill - safe and in total control on every scenario on some dicey Highlands back roads. On top of all l the important traits, his personality was a perfect fit for our crew of five and I suspect he would be well liked in any crowd. Thanks for a great five-day tour Dave!

We hired Dave as a private guide and driver for 8 days. We started in Edinburgh on our own for 2 days and then he picked us up from the flat we rented and off we went. Dave was very entertaining, kept us laughing and we felt safe. It was me, my daughter and two of my friends. We went from Stirling, to Glencoe and stayed at the Glengarry Hotel first for 2 nights. He would drop us off each night and pick us back up in the morning. He always helped us with our bags and opening the van doors each time we were getting in or out. We also headed to Isle of Skye, Isle of Harris and Lewis, Inverness and Pitlochry, then dropped back off at EDI. We loved the stories and folk tales. He never rushed us and we were able to change things up if we ever needed. I would highly recommend using Dave and everyone in our party was glad we hired him!!

We spent 3 days around Inverness covering Lochness , Isle of Sky with Dave in a private tour with my husband, 9 year old son and myself. We had a great time with Dave, where we learnt about history and tales of the different places and Scotland through Dave humorous stories. Dave is a powerhouse of information and an amazing story teller. He was very responsive in all our queries and took into account our interests while Planning the itinerary.
