Fairy Chimneys

Avanos Pottery Workshop
Bezoek nog steeds in Avanos een authentieke, door een familie gerunde pottenbakkerij in een ondergrondse grot. Klei uit de Kızılırmak (rode) rivier werd voor het eerst gebruikt in de productie van aardewerk door de Hetieten vóór 1700 voor Christus en wordt tegenwoordig nog steeds als een kunstvorm gebruikt. Kijk hoe een meester demonstreert hoe je een pot maakt, en kijk hoe de schilders en glaszetters hun delicate patronen aanbrengen. Ga zelf aan de pottenbakkersschijf en maak desgewenst je eigen unieke pot.

Derinkuyu YeraltI Sehri
Derinkuyu Underground City is de grootste en diepste ondergrondse nederzetting in Cappadocië, daterend uit de 7e-8e eeuw. Loop 8 niveaus af die elk met elkaar zijn verbonden door smalle tunnels en stenen trappen. Bekijk de wijnmakerij, kerk, keukens, voedselopslagruimtes en dierenstallen terwijl je gids je inzicht geeft in hun dagelijks leven.

Awesome ATV tour - pickup from hotel, safety equipment, balaclava + glasses to prevent dust, multiple stops, and back with water and an air compressor dustoff, then back to hotel! Saw the sites and had plenty of time for pictures. Recommend!

We went on a family trip with 12 people, and everything went wonderfully. The staff were very caring — they provided us with water and everything we needed. During the trip, it was one of our family member’s birthdays, and they surprised her with a cake. Overall, the driver, the guide, and everyone from the agency were very attentive, and everything turned out perfectly.
We had three separate tours booked in with Ibrahim, including the green, red and hiking tour. As we were a group of 10 people he organised private tours for us for a very good price which included transport, lunch and entries to the venues each day. Ibramim also organised our evening for the first night ("Turkish Night") which was food with entertainment. All of this was great and we each really enjoyed ourselves on our trip. We can't say enough good things about Ibrahim, the man was a star for us - helping us the entire we were in Cappadocia. So friendly, funny and helpful. Even lent me his sunglasses as he saw I didn't have one before our hike (proved really useful!). You won't have any regrets booking with Ibrahim and his brother.

Beautiful quad bike tour at sunset. The plus of this experience is given by Hibrahim tour guide but much more. He was available from the first moment to help us with the organization of green tours and gave us many useful tips. It was a pleasant discovery!
I booked a private tour for two with a guide in Spanish. Our guide turned out to speak perfect Spanish, with a knowledge of brutal history. Although it may seem somewhat more expensive than group tours, it is certainly worth doing. Ibrahim, owner of the company Göreme paradise travel from the first minute was aware that everything was scheduled and according to our needs offering us all the possibilities that could fit with our requests as well as transfers for the airport, balloon flight and other recommendations.
