Wat je gaat doen
De PADI Open Water Course-certificering is het eerste niveau van duiken, het certificaat wordt wereldwijd erkend en aan het einde van de cursus bent u gecertificeerd om tot 18 meter diep te duiken. De cursus combineert alle basisaspecten van duiken vanuit een theoretisch en praktisch perspectief. De cursus zal je begrip van de oceaan vergroten en je leert de basisfeiten, principes en concepten van duiken in theorielessen. Daarnaast maak je jezelf vertrouwd met verschillende technieken en methoden die je duikvaardigheden kunnen ontwikkelen. De cursus duurt 3 dagen De theorie wordt online gedaan via Padi e-learning platform en beoordeeld met onze gecertificeerde instructeur. Dit kan voor aanvang van de cursus, of tijdens de 3 daagse cursus. Op de eerste dag zal onze instructeur de Confined Water Dives (zwembadsessie) leren om basisduikvaardigheden te leren in een veilige en gecontroleerde omgeving. De tweede en derde dag zijn oceaanduiken. Openwaterduiken 1 tot 4 zorgen ervoor dat je je nieuwe vaardigheden gebruikt en de zee gaat verkennen. Leren duiken is een buitengewone ervaring. Je gewichtloos voelen en onder water kunnen ademen is echt iets onvergetelijks.

I had one of the best experiences possible while learning to dive. The instructors make you feel at home with top of the line equipment and instruction. We finished off our Open Water with a dive where we got to see everything from turtles to octopus and anything in between.

Did the deep diver specialty with Sybille. She was thorough and very professional, as were everyone else I dealt with and watched with other students / divers. Add to that they have access to amazing sites to see. Would recommend if you either want to learn or do fun dives

While on holidays, my two children (13 and 17) did a 3 day PADI-course (Open Water Diver) at Bali Diving Academy in Lembongan, preceded by a hefty bit of prep online reading and tests (which they initially didn’t feel like much, but ultimately saw the use of quite soon upon starting the actual course). The instructors at BDA are really cool, knowledgeable and patient. Over the 3 day course my children teamed up with Ruben, whom they really liked and who taught them “more in 1 hour than all the diving we did before” (according to my son). Well done, Ruben! The course started with a day of pool instructions and exercises, followed by a half day of two actual open water dives (practising all manner of skills like CESA, buddy breathing, neutral buoyancy, etc.) and half a day of further advanced skills. The final day they made another two open water dives, and proudly got certified! All in all a very good experience, and highly recommended indeed. Many thanks Ruben, Carlos and all others at BDA!
