Possibly the greatest way to get a feel of the city. John evidently loves the place and shares his passion with visitors, adapting the tour according to visitors' interests be it history, food or architecture or anything else related to Toulouse. The ride itself is very pleasant thanks to electric bikes, riding along the canal and in the pink streets of the old city is a lovely experience. A fine tour on excellent e-bikes. Really a good way ti see Toulouse and hear the history behind The City Rose. And we had John as our tourguide - he was a really pleasant person and he knee everything about the city, and he could tell it in an interesting way. We highly recommend this tour on bike for 3 hours.
Great bike tour by John as the ultimate guide. Definitely the best way to see a city and surroundings. Also a nice way to meet others and get some insight tips of the city. We toured downtown Toulouse as well as canals. Weather was beautiful. Ebikes are in perfect condition. Highly recommendable tour.
A wonderful way to see the city and learn it's history. Our guide was informative and fun, providing historic documents to illustrate his talks. We were nervous about the traffic, but he has routes that are quit clear and we followed his directions on how to ride streets without incident. The E bikes make it almost effortless.
This was the best guided tour we had on our whole trip in France! I cannot recommend this experience enough! Yannick was a great guide and provided wonderful information and history about the area. The tour outside of Toulouse is full of exquisite scenery including canals, forests, rivers, mountains, and fields of sunflowers. The electric bike adds to the fun and enjoyment too! This is the very best way to experience the stunning countryside around Toulouse!
Fantastic way to see the city on quite wonderfully efficient bikes. Also taken to sights we would not have seen and it left us feeling full of the joys about the city of Toulouse.

A big thank you to Yannick at le Velotrement for organising our 14 day family cycling holiday. We rode from Bordeaux to Toulouse along the Canal de Garonne. Yannick sorted out all the details for our group of six - ranging from 69 to 2 years of age. He provided excellent bikes (both standard and ebikes), a baby seat, bike locks and repair tools and organised accommodation in hotels and guest houses. The dinners Yannick suggested at the guest houses were delicious, our luggage moved magically to new accommodation and all the hotels and guest houses had night-time storage for our bikes. Yannick met us in Bordeaux and, to finish our tour, picked up our bikes from our hotel in Toulouse. Even the weather in April treated us kindly. Our holiday was organised from Australia by emails. We found le Velotrement searching the internet. It all worked smoothly helped by Yannick’s English which is excellent, unlike our French. Yannick suggested an itinerary. The bike path along the canal provided the beautiful “spine” for our ride with daily detours and “rest days” to explore the cities and interesting sites and villages along the way. A highlight was the bike tour and wine tasting around St Emilion. Another was moseying around Moissac. While we self-guided, it was made easy by the maps and accurate GPS files provided. We would recommend Yannick and le Velotrement to anyone thinking of undertaking a bike tour around Toulouse and particularly along the Canal de Garonne.
