The Palace of Knossos
O centro da civilização minóica e capital da Creta minóica fica a 5 km ao sul de Heraklion. O palácio minóico é o principal ponto de interesse de Knossos, importante cidade da antiguidade, continuamente habitada desde o período neolítico até o século V. DE ANÚNCIOS. O palácio foi construído na colina de Kephala e tinha fácil acesso ao mar e ao interior de Creta. Segundo a tradição, foi a sede do sábio rei Minos. O Palácio de Knossos está ligado a lendas emocionantes, como o mito do Labirinto, com o Minotauro e a história de Daidalos e Ikaros. Knossos floresceu por aproximadamente dois mil anos. Wow!!! Great experience. Booked this tour for our short time in Crete from a cruise. My mom uses a scooter so this was perfect for her. Kostas took excellent care of us. Speaks impeccable English, and was full of knowledge. Excellent driver to and from Knossos palace!! I cannot wait to come back to stay longer on this beautiful island. I definitely recommend this tour and will book again!!

This was an absolutely amazing day trip with Panos. The trip to Knossos Palace was very interesting. We asked to skip the museum because we wanted to see more of Crete. Panos willingly change his plans and made the trip our own. Panos informed us about Crete’s history and current life. We have taken 8 cruises with many excursions and my husband and I agree this day with Panos was by far our favorite. I highly recommend him as a guide
Natassa was excellent at organizing three different trips from Chania for my husband and me. The first trip was to see the Knossos Palace, the archaeological museum, the Heraklion city center and, on the way back, a brief stop in Rethymno. The second trip was to see the Elafonisi and Falasarna beaches in West Crete. The third trip was to reach Hora Sfakion by car and then Sweet Water beach, Loutro, and the Marmara Caves by sea. Natassa promptly responded to our inquiries and sent a detailed itinerary for each trip. Yiannis was the driver for each trip and we were highly impressed with his skills on many narrow roads with tight curves up and down mountain sides. In Hiraklion, Kostas was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We greatly enjoyed getting to know Natassa, Yiannis, and Kostas and they all contributed to a memorable experience!
Our family of four planned our own agenda for our day in Crete and we selected the five hour private tour and were so fortunate to be paired with the most amazing driver, Yiannis. He was so full of information and got us to each of our destinations on schedule. We took three other Viator private tours and were extremely impressed with the open communication and over the top service. Viator is the way to go and we will use them exclusively from this point forward. Thank you Viator and Yiannis.
Just the name of the company. The company in Chania that can provide you experiences in any field. We booked a sightseeing tour with car around Chania and the driver told us that we can make a sailing cruise with the same company with a discount of 7% so we did it. It was amazing. Thank you guys!!!
