Gallipoli Battlefield
Às 11h45 O passeio parte e prossegue pela Kilitbahir Car Ferry através dos Dardanelos. Antes de seguir para os campos de batalha, o almoço é servido no Maydos Restaurant & Bar. Após o almoço, o passeio segue em ônibus com ar-condicionado até a área do campo de batalha para visitar; Brighton Beach, o local de desembarque pretendido onde você pode nadar, se o tempo permitir; Cemitério da praia na ponta sul de ANZAC Cove, o local de desembarque da primeira onda de ANZAC tropas e lar de até 30.000 soldados durante a campanha (John Simpson Kirkpatrick de Simpson e seu burro está enterrado neste cemitério). Continue até o Cemitério Ari Burnu, na ponta norte de ANZAC Cove, aqui você encontrará o Memorial Australiano Lone Pine, que fica no local do ataque e captura das trincheiras turcas pelos australianos. Veja as trincheiras e túneis da Jolly Allied Turkish de Johnston, o Memorial Turco do 57º Regimento, o local Nek retratado no filme 'Gallipoli' e, finalmente, Chunuk Bair New Zealand.

Our guide Elcan was amazing. So much knowledge about the operations, people and battle defining moments of the Australian, New Zealand and Turkish armies. The ferry ride was first up followed by a very enjoyable lunch which was needed as the tour then kicks off. At times hard to fathom the number of soldiers killed on both sides for no real reason. All up a great experience
Excellent .,friendly and informative tour guide packed a lot of details in ..highly recommend... Not sure why I need to leave a hundred word review when I do not have anything more to say
We had a fantastic day, with an extremely knowledgeable guide, Ercan Yavuz. Great lovely lunch and a comprehensive tour of the battlefields and it's history.
Beautiful cemetery, very well kept and interesting to read the gravestones. Most of these men were young when they died . So sad . Good to see the memorial too .
A touching place to learn about the history and the tragedy that happened to the brave soldiers. The marked cemetery has tombstones with touching messages, but none were sure if the bodies were buried there as some were lost at sea and some on land.
I was confident I had a quite good understanding of the story of the Anzac’s but the knowledge and level of detail that Ercan has is incredible With a fair bit to see he coveted everything so to anyone considering this tour I’d recommend thinking about the 2 day tour to truly soak it all in Oh and lunch was excellent at Maydos
Great place to visit, especially if you're Aussie and Kiwi. Very interesting. Must have a well informed guide.
We had trouble with our hotel and they, not only helped us, but offered us an *amazing* tour around the memorials of Gallipoli. Hülya was really nice and attentive and Arjan was an outstanding guide. Everything was organized, timing was perfect, and we had lots of fun. One month already passed and I have the certainty I will never forget that day 😄.
