We absolutely loved our tour of the Bastille Market with Allison! I went with my parents and sister, and it ended up being one of our favorite experiences in Paris. Allison was amazing. So knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to spend the morning with. What I loved most was that she didn’t just take us around the market, she made us feel like we could actually navigate it like a local. We got to try some of the best crepes, cheeses, and other French specialties, while learning about the market and the neighborhood along the way. If you’re visiting Paris and want an experience that feels authentic and personal rather than touristy, I can’t recommend this tour (and Allison!) enough. We had such a wonderful time and would absolutely do it again!
Our full-day tour of Les Puces with Allison from Tours Truly was one of the highlights of our time in Paris. Having visited the flea market on my own before, I thought I had a decent sense of what it had to offer. I quickly realized how much I had been missing. Allison’s deep knowledge of the market, its history, and its many specialized sections transformed what can feel like an overwhelming maze into an exciting and highly curated experience. She knew exactly where to go based on our interests, introduced us to exceptional dealers we never would have found on our own, and provided fascinating context about the pieces, vendors, and the evolution of the market itself. What impressed me most was how much value her expertise added beyond simple navigation. She helped us distinguish truly special finds from ordinary merchandise, shared insights into pricing and provenance, and gave us the confidence to make purchases we felt great about. The day was perfectly paced, engaging, and tailored to us. If you’re considering a visit to Les Puces, I cannot recommend Allison highly enough. Even if you’ve been before, her knowledge and connections will allow you to experience the market in an entirely different way. She turned what could have been a day of wandering into a memorable and rewarding adventure.
Allison is an absolute delight and has thought of everything to make this a memorable experience - from her incredible knowledge of the vast array of stalls to having hand sanitizer after the Metro ride! Before our tour, she asked about anything specific we were looking for, and once there, she guided us to some extraordinary spots for just what we were looking for and much, much more. And the tour included additional spots that were so much fun and filled with amazing items. Allison has great rapport with a wide range of vendors and managed our time beautifully - selected great spots for coffee/citron presse breaks as well as lunch. Les Puces is truly a must see in Paris, and I can't image doing it with anyone other than Allison.

Exploring the markets with her was not only interesting but also so much fun—she knew exactly where to go and helped us discover some truly unique finds. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it turned a simple market visit into a memorable experience. Allison (Tours Truly) is simply the best. This was my son's first visit to Paris, and it could not have been planned any better. We have some pretty particular and specific interests, and Allison nailed them across the board. From cooking classes and walking tours to the perfect restaurants, this trip was a success in every way. And while I am no stranger to Paris, this was my first excursion to the marchés and it was just great. My only regret was not buying that painting when I had a chance,... Oh well, guess I have to go back.
Allison gave us a thorough tour of the market, explaining the origin of the local foods, pointing out the best vendors. She took such good care of us!

What a great tour! Marche Madness is the perfect tour for those who want to uncover a part of Paris that most visitors don't see - the local markets. If you love shopping and hunting for the perfect treasures and souvenirs (and even feeling a bit like a local), this tour is for you. Allison is an excellent guide and you can tell that she loves and appreciates Paris. She's very knowledgeable about French culture and traditions. We will definitely be taking another tour with Allison the next time we are in town.
