Okinawa Scuba Diving For Certified Divers (3 boat dives + Lunch)

This is a must do if you're in Motobu! First, the pickup plus drop off made transportation convenient and you're provided with everything you'd need to have an enjoyable experience. Hot tea on the boat, a cozy windbreaker between dives, a towel poncho for the drive back, and then a hot shower at the end are just some of the little things that the team has all planned out to ensure you have the most comfortable experience. Everyone was warm and accommodating and I felt so welcome and happy to be there. Lunch was a filling sandwich and potato wedges from a local shop with hand-drawn marine animals and a note saying "good diving!" on the box ❤️ These were my first dives outside of my certification and I really spoiled myself choosing to do them in Okinawa. Visibility was perfect and swimming through the coral reefs was incredible. We saw a multitude of fish, a mantis shrimp, octopodes, sea snakes, eels, and could hear some whale song in the distance. I went during the winter so we used 5mm wetsuits, but I'm a California diver so the slight chill and light surge didn't bother me much. Toshi is an amazing dive guide with an abundance of experience and passion for diving, took amazing photos, and was such a calming presence. As a fellow Californian, we had great conversations about back home and it was so nice to speak in English for a bit. Our day ended at 3pm and that was enough time to also visit the Churaumi Aquarium which was the perfect cherry-on-top. I highly recommend the Ocean Lounge team and I would love to return one day! I have no notes, everything was perfect!

Had such a great time diving! Our divemaster was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel comfy from the start. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many colorful fish and coral — absolutely stunning. The dive was super chill, and he made sure we were all having fun and feeling safe underwater. Really amazing experience and hospitality — absolutely would dive with him again!

Toshi was an exceptional guide—he speaks fluent English, which made communication and instructions super clear. Perfect for travelers from the U.S. or any English-speaking country. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and created such a positive vibe throughout the trip. The rest of the staff were just as wonderful—kind, helpful, and attentive when assisting with gear. The dive sites were beautiful, and the photos we received afterward were absolutely stunning. I’m so grateful for the memories captured. This was truly a breathtaking experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I had the best time diving in Okinawa thanks to Toshi! He’s super friendly, personable, and an all around cool guy to dive with. Every dive spot we went to was incredible, some of the most beautiful I’ve seen and together with Toshi’s guidance, these ended up being my favorite dives so far. I was a little nervous since it had been a while since my last dive, but Toshi made me feel totally at ease. He was patient, reassuring, and was always there when I needed help. You can tell he really pays attention to the details and genuinely cares about giving people the best experience possible. Highly recommend diving with him if you’re in Okinawa!

Ocean lounge was a beautiful home for us to relax and prep for our dive as well as wash up after our dive. Tastu made us feel welcome and even made us freshly brewed coffee and tea. We managed 2 boat dives and had to cancel the 3 rd dive due to the heavy rain and winds. We also had to miss out lunch due to the weather and the restaurants being packed. Apart from the uncontrollable weather situation, tastu made sure our dive was enjoyable and took photos for us underwater. Thank you for the great diving experience in Motobu!
