We are a group of 9 (two families with 5 teens) from the US vacationing in August 2026 to Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. I did alot of researches and booked different private tours in the 3 countries. The two days with Kosuke (Ko) were the best highlights of our summer trip!! Right after I booked it, Ko reached out via WhatsApp and asked if there's any specific requests or places we want to do / go. This is so different than many private tours, which only reaches out and connect you with the driver / guide the day before your trip! Ko answered all of our questions, helped us with our planning, recommended restaurants and even made reservations for us. We ended up booking him for two days in Kyoto instead of the original one day because we had a feeling he would be great and we were right!! He's not only a driver, he's also a very knowledgeable tour guide. He's from the area. He explained everything, answered all the questions, made suggestions, and adjust our schedule based on the weather. He's very respectful and professional. Everyone in the group loves him! I already recommended him to my friend who went to Kyoto two weeks later but Ko was already booked. Since we only had a short 2 days at Kyoto, when we go again next time, we will definitely book him. Since we had so many private tours during our summer trip, I can confidently say that Ko is the best! Thank you so much!!
We spent the most amazing day with Kosuke! We saw so many different sites all over Kyoto. Not only did Kosuke drive us and drop us off/pick us up in very convenient locations, but he walked through the various locations with us and explained so many things that we would have otherwise missed. We never would have been able to see as many sites in one day, and our experience would not have been as great without Kosuke.! His van was great, and fit our family of 5 perfectly with lots of room. Highly recommend!
We went on a fabulous tour with Kosuke who took us in his huge van around Kyoto. He customized the tour to our preferences and went out of his way to make sure we tried foods and other things we wanted. Also takes fabulous photos Very reasonable cost. Thank you for a 7 hour tour Highly recommend
We had such a great full-day tour with Kosuke! He was very flexible and tailored the day around our family and our kids’ needs, which we really appreciated. His van was super comfortable and honestly such a lifesaver in the summer heat — it was so nice to cool down between stops! Kosuke drove us all the way to Nara, and we still managed to see several highlights in Kyoto without ever feeling rushed. He’s also a great photographer and took some really nice family photos for us throughout the day. Overall, it was such an easy, enjoyable, and memorable day. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. We would highly recommend Kosuke, especially for families traveling with kids!
Kosuke was phenomenal! The best tour guide in Japan! So patient and anticipated our needs as a family with 3 young kids. Cannot say enough. Took great photos too!
Kasuke is an excellent tour guide. He knows the city of Kyoto and its history very well, often surprising us with details we would have never known. For example, the electronics company Cannon was named for Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy in Japanese Buddhism. We covered 3 days of temples in one day in his air conditioned van. Highly recommend.

KSK-Tour (Kosuke) did an amazing job at showing our family Kyoto. Kosuke's in-depth knowledge of the area enabled us to see many hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. With Kosuke's help, we were able to see many beautiful areas while avoiding the bulk of the crowds. Kosuke is warm and welcoming and is an excellent guide. I would highly recommend engaging KSK-Tours if you are visiting Kyoto or the surrounding area.
