Ephesus Ancient City
Your next visit is to the archeological site of world famous ancient Greco-Roman City of Ephesus. You will enter Ephesus through the Magnesia Gate and begin a slow, downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of this Roman provincial capital. Your route takes you past the Odeon Theater, the Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater, which seats 24,000 spectators, is believed to be the site where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians; it is still used today for a local spring festivals and concerts.

We had a wonderful day with Mehmet Can! It was a lengthy tour through Ephesus and he was very knowledgeable and happily answered all our questions. There were 16 of us and the youngest was 9 years old. He was very patient and had excellent English so he was very easy to follow and understand and very good about waiting on the group together. Mehmet was also a great communicator before the trip so we were very clear on our meeting point and confident in his instructions. We would all highly recommend Mehmet to be your tour guide.
Mehmet answered countless questions and accommodated our sightseeing interests, which included a tour of Ephesus, a delightful Turkish barbecue lunch, rug making, and experiencing a black sand beach.
This tour was great, and our guide Sude was perfect for us. She offered us some historical context on the way up to the ancient city which allowed us to spend more time taking in the sights rather than fighting the crowds or trying to read the signs in the heat. She customized our itinerary for us on the fly and had us back to the port well in advance of our cruise departure. We both had a great time and would certainly recommend!
Mehmet was an excellent and thoughtful tour guide for our family at Ephesus. He was a trained and well-read on the historical and Biblical topics that were of interest to our group. Highly recommend!
My family spent a day in Ephesus under the guidance of Mehmet. From the first moment, he was kind, patient, and considerate of our every need. We were a group of 16 family members ranging from 9-76 years old, so we all had to take care to stay together and consider one another throughout the tour. Mehmet was incredibly patient with all of us and still helped us stay on pace to be able to see everything he knew we would want to experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and was so happy to answer our many questions. He seemed to have so much energy (even on a very hot day), and never let his bright disposition dim. He definitely took more time with us than he was planning, but never complained and made sure that we saw everything on the agenda with enough time to make it back to our cruise ship. He considered every detail and made admissions to sights/museums perfect and seamless. He also guided us to a lunch spot that was delicious and well priced. I highly recommend him for your next family adventure!

Well, Tugçe designed a private experience from Istanbul to Göbekli and Kahran Tepe, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Pammukkale and Capadoccia, back to Istanbul. She and her entire team were very patient, helpful, knowledgeable and simply amazing. Tugçe and Ibahim chose the best tour guides and drivers with the best cars! Mehmet, Taha, Jana, Ismail, Gözde, were all incredible Tour Guides. Do recommend! Will do it again!
Our day trip to Ephesus, Pamukale Nd Hierapolis was led by Olgu. We had a wonderful time. Olgu was very knowledgeable and proffesional, letting us have lots of free time to see things at our own pace. If you need a guide at Kusadasi, Olgu is your man.
