I had the opportunity to visit the magical town of Albarracin in Spain and take a tour with Pilar who is not only a native to Albarracin but a historian specialized in the area. My father for years encouraged us to visit where our last name came from and I finally was able to complete it. January is actually their slow season but because tourism is low, my friends and I were able to get 1:1 time with Pilar and walk through the very well preserved town with very few people insight which made it perfect for pictures. Definitely worth doing a 1-2 day trip through this medieval town nestled in the Albarracin Sierras.
