   Selge Antik Kenti

   Located high in the Taurus Mountains (1,250m), Selge offers a unique blend of rugged Roman ruins and authentic Turkish village life. Integrated into Altınkaya village, ancient columns stand beside local houses and grazing goats. Key Sights & Landmarks: Roman Theater: The site's crown jewel is remarkably well-preserved, seating 9,000. Its "Horseshoe" shape offers panoramic mountain views. Temples of Zeus and Artemis: Located on the acropolis, these ruins showcase the city’s religious significance through surviving foundations and columns. Agora & Market Square: The heart of trade where outlines of shops once selling olives, wine, and medicinal herbs remain visible. Necropolis: To the north lies the ancient cemetery featuring stone sarcophagi and rock-carved monuments. Ancient Gates & Walls: Roughly 350 meters of original city walls still stand, marking the entrance to the northern settlement. It's a rare, lived-in historical site.

   The hike from the ancient city of Selge to the "Adam Kayalar" (Man Rocks) is a journey through a surreal, prehistoric landscape. Travelers will navigate a terrain filled with unique conglomerate rock formations, often called the "Avatar Lands." These towering structures, shaped by millions of years of erosion, resemble a standing army of petrified figures or "men," giving the area its name. What to See and Do: The "Avatar" Landscape: Hike through pillars of rock that reach up to 70 meters high, creating a labyrinthine path that feels otherworldly. Ancient Pathways: Walk along segments of original Roman stone roads that once connected Selge to the surrounding regions. Flora & Fauna: Explore forests of ancient cypress, juniper, and walnut trees. Keep an eye out for mountain goats and wild herbs like sage. Photography: Capture the dramatic silhouettes of the rocks against the Taurus peaks—especially striking during the "golden hour" of sunset.

   Tazi Canyon

   After exploring the surreal "Adam Kayalar," the journey continues through the rugged beauty of the Taurus Mountains toward the breathtaking Tazı Canyon. This route seamlessly blends geological wonders with deep-rooted history and adrenaline-inducing heights. What to See and Do: Historic Crossings: Following a traditional local lunch, we visit the iconic Köprülü Canyon to see the historic Oluk Bridge, a masterpiece of Roman engineering still spanning the turquoise waters below. The Grand Finale: Reach Tazı Canyon, also known as "Eagle’s Canyon." Standing at the edge of its 400-meter-high vertical walls, you will witness one of Turkey’s most Instagrammed and awe-inspiring panoramic views. River Vistas: Peer down at the winding Köprüçay River, which looks like a narrow ribbon of emerald from the cliffside. Nature’s Silence: Take a moment to absorb the vast silence of the canyon, broken only by the wind and the occasional eagle soaring above.

Hotel pickup is included for all travellers.

The final pickup time will be given one day before the Excursion. You can specify your own pick-up points such as Hotel - Address - Meeting Point for the pick-up service. We have a pick-up service from all over Antalya, Kemer, Konyaaltı, Lara, Kundu and Belek. Attention: Since it is not allowed to enter the Antalya Old Town (Kaleiçi) area by minibus. You will be notified of the pickup location and time the day before the tour starts.
