MThis sunset cruise completely exceeded our expectations and was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy. From beginning to end, the experience felt so authentic, personal, and genuinely Italian — not touristy or commercialized at all. The boat itself was beautiful, the drinks and treats were phenomenal, the music was perfect, and cruising along the coast at sunset was absolutely magical. Every detail made the evening feel special, relaxed, and effortless. I genuinely don’t think there is a better boat experience you could have in the area than one with Marco. But what really made this experience unforgettable was Marco himself. While we were stopped for a swim, my phone accidentally fell into the water. Before I could even fully process what had happened, Marco didn’t hesitate for a second — he jumped straight into the water, dove down, and managed to retrieve it for me! Somehow, the phone ended up being completely fine, and I still can’t believe he saved it. That moment alone says everything about the kind of person and captain he is. Beyond that, Marco’s hospitality was incredible. It felt like we were getting to experience the coast through the eyes of a local rather than simply taking a boat tour. He made us feel so welcome and gave us an experience we’ll genuinely never forget. If you are considering booking this cruise, do it. The beautiful boat, sunset, music, drinks, food, swimming, and incredible hospitality made this one of those experiences we’ll be talking about for years. I truly can’t thank Marco enough — for saving my phone, of course, but even more for giving us such an amazing and authentic experience. An absolute must!
A great way to spend the evening sightseeing the area from the water. Filippo was the best tour guide and his love of this area shone through with his taking us to his favorite sites. Found the perfect place to watch the sunset.
As a local that live abroad in Sweden since 2015 was the best experience I ever had so far ! Have the chance to show to my kids the beauty of the coast and it was blast! Started from Portovenere the Captains showed us the beautiful caves on the palmaria Island, and we took the first bath in an amazing spot ! Just us and the sea ! Kids were jumping from the boat and we were enjoying the life, thinking how I’m lucky to be born here. Then we took the direction to Fischerino on the other side of the gulf to get last glimpse of sun , the last bath in the turquoise weather inside a cave and get the sunset aperitif!!! Beautiful views of the coast near La Spezia, and Marco was a wonderful skipper. He was an unobtrusive presence on the boat showing us the best parts of the coast as needed. Perfectly on time as well, and accommodated us when one of our party because seasick and had to head back to shore.
This was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in Italy ! I ended up booking this last minute for a birthday surprise and it definitely exceeded my expectations!! Marco was amazing and kind. It ended up being just my group of 3 in the boat and as a group of only women we felt safe the entire time and highly recommend this!
We ended up being the only two people on the tour which was unreal! Marco was a great captain, checking in early to confirm weather conditions, providing yummy drinks and snacks (hands down the best Aperol Spritz of my life), and has some good playlists too. We stopped to swim at one point and he had snorkels available for us to use. The views were absolutely incredible everywhere you turned! Seeing Porto Verene has been on my bucket list ad I could not think of a more perfect way to go about it. Wouldn't hesitate to book with Marco again in future
Marco was very kind and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Lots of stops for swimming in beautiful spots and a nice aperitif in the middle. Highly recommend blue moon and Marco (especially the morning option) if you’re looking for a boat tour!
We had so much fun! Marco was amazing! Well worth the time and money! Very accommodating and is a great photographer! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!! We hope to do it again sometime!!
