Guests who make reservations with proposed dates from their requests will have a smoother experience. (Please note that if the payment is not completed, it will be considered a cancellation.) Due to work circumstances, it may be difficult to set up, so we appreciate your understanding. Our small atelier, previously located in Shintomicho, has moved to a charming alley near the Sumida River with old-town flair since March of this year. It is a 2-minute walk from Hamacho Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line, a 10-minute walk from Ningyocho Station on the Hibiya Line, and a 7-minute walk from Suitengumae Station on the Hanzomon Line. Why not enjoy the atmosphere and experience a convenient-to-take-home bonsai-style arrangement? The experience takes place in our small atelier. First, we welcome you with tea and traditional Japanese sweets. After a short break and relaxation, we explain how to create the bonsai arrangement. The materials include faux moss and dried flowers. You'll create a palm-sized bonsai-style object. We use hot glue to secure the pieces, making it durable. Since it is a fake bonsai, you can take it abroad!

5/5! Love it! Quiet and fun!!!
Such a wonderful experience! Her studio was absolutely adorable, and you can truly see her passion for floral design in every detail. She is an amazing teacher—patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout the entire class. While there was a slight language barrier at times, she made every effort to communicate clearly and ensure everyone felt included and understood. The experience is very tourist-friendly and welcoming, even for beginners. I learned so much and had a great time creating something beautiful. This is definitely a must-do experience for anyone visiting the area!
This flower bonsai experience was truly amazing. I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much, but once we started, I became completely absorbed in the process. I’m usually busy with work and often feel tired, so it felt really refreshing to use a different part of my mind and focus on something creative with my hands. It was relaxing, fun, and surprisingly healing. Yoshiko, the owner and host, was so kind and welcoming. She spoke English with us as much as she could, and that made the whole experience feel very warm and friendly. She was always there to help when we needed it, but she also let us enjoy making our own pieces by ourselves. For example, when the base was a little unstable, she gently supported us and showed us how to fix it, instead of just doing everything for us. That balance made the experience even better. What I loved most was that this was not the kind of experience you can easily find in other countries. It felt very Japanese — delicate, thoughtful, and connected to the beauty of bonsai. Even if someone is not usually interested in art, I think they would still enjoy this. It is creative, but not intimidating. You don’t need any special skills. You can simply enjoy the process. It was also a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family. While we were chatting and making our flower bonsai together, each person’s personality naturally appeared in their work. That was really interesting and lovely to see. It became more than just an art activity — it became a shared memory. At the end, Yoshiko even served us some sweets, which made the whole experience feel even more thoughtful and special. Overall, I think this is a rare and unique experience that you can only have here in Japan. It is peaceful, beautiful, personal, and full of warmth. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something special and memorable during their time in Japan.
Everything was prepared and also the teacher can help you make a nice design! I think this is also a great gift to bring back home as you can’t really bring real bonsai plants through immigration, it is a cool alternative and also something you can be proud of making!
It was amazing! I had a lot of fun, and I'd definitely recommend this to others ⭐️ Perfect souvenir/house decoration for both travelers and Japan residents ☺️
This was a great experience! The atmosphere is so relaxing and creative! If you're into traditional craft this activity is a mast!
I had a wonderful time at this bonsai workshop! The sensei was incredibly kind and patient, guiding us through each step with great care. What I really loved was the variety of choices available—we could select different trees, pots, and styles to truly create our own unique bonsai. It was such a pleasant and authentic Japanese cultural experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and I found myself completely focused and immersed in the process, which made it even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience a traditional side of Japan in a hands-on and meaningful way! 🌿
