What you'll do
Step into our intimate ten-seat tasting room beside CHOES Wine Bar & Shop, in the heart of Corfu Old Town. Choose between the one-hour Journey tasting, featuring four distinctive Greek wines, or the extended two-hour Discovery tasting, featuring six carefully selected wines and additional pairings. Hosted by a certified sommelier, you will explore boutique wines from small, family-run Greek wineries, including indigenous grape varieties and bottles rarely found outside Greece. The wines are accompanied by thoughtfully selected Greek and Corfiot bites, organic Corfiot olive oil and fresh sourdough bread. Along the way, discover the people, places and passion behind each bottle in a relaxed and conversational setting — no formal lectures, just stories, questions and shared enjoyment.

We had a wonderful wine tasting at CHOES. Our host was warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We managed to try eight authentic wines, two of which were produced in Corfu, in an intimate setting with two other couples. We enjoyed the experience so much that we stayed on after the tasting to enjoy the outside street-side seating for another glass.
This tasting was the perfect way to end our day in Korfu. We were able to relax and learn about the wine we would drink on the coming days. It was a lot of fun. Our host also suggested stopping at Santo wines in Santorini - which we did! It was a great suggestion - good wine and stunning views.
What a find. Did not book in advance as not sure what day I would by in old town but the narrator fitted me in and it was great. There was a party of 3 from one of the cruise liners and the tasting was superb, we were offered 8 smaller glasses rather than the 4 so that we could savour a larger variety and it was perfect, 4 white, 1 rose, 1 orange and 2 reds. Had not tried orange before so a first for me. The narration was great the lady obviously new her grapes,varieties and regions. Would highly recommend a pleasant way to spend an hour. Thanks.
What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.. an absolute find on Trip Advisor. Strangers at first but wine in common starts great conversations. Our hostess was so knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you it was fabulous!
We have done wine tastings all over the world and this was by far our favorite we have ever done. Chriso is so knowledgeable and imparts her knowledge with such joy and enthusiasm. It’s just a delight to be around her. The wines were of a really high-quality and the food pairings were delicious. I wish we were here another night and could do it all again. Could not recommend more highly. A must do if you like wine and are spending the night in Corfu old Town.
Really fun couple of hours. The conversation meanders as wine is drunk and food is eaten. This isn’t stuffy or high brow, it’s enjoyable it’s informative and it’s fun. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed.
It was a very hot day touring Corfu so we popped in for a wine tasting. Olga was so knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were delicious and we had a wonderful time!
We stumbled across Choes after our cruise excursion ended and it was the best part of our day in Corfu! Olga was kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating of our last minute drop in. We tasted delicious Greek wine and cheese. It is definitely worth a visit for a tasting or even just a glass of wine while visiting Corfu!
