The Pyramids Of Giza
Cairo Layover Tour Starts and Ends in Cairo Airport .GEM Explore Egyptologist will be waiting outside the arrival lounge(Not inside) as per requested pick up time to start your Journey across Cairo heading to the Great Pyramids of Giza where you will enjoy The pyramid of King Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, the tour will continue by vising the Valley Temple of Khafre, where is located the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. The Great Pyramid of Khufu
Khufu's pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient seven wonders still remains and standing today!! the highest building on earth for more than 3800 Years, the complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated yet, with your advanced Egyptologist you will be able to explore the entire area.

The Second highest pyramid in the complex is dedicated to king Chefren or Khafre, the entire complex is still in good condition so with your Egyptologist you will explore the valley temple and the causeway of king Khafre. Nearby Khan Elkhalili, is located one of the most sacred Islamic sites in Egypt, this mosque is the reputed burial place of the head of Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed. the mosque has been renovated recently. Opportunity to take nice photos.

From start to finish, she was a truly lovely person — warm, gracious, and genuinely kind. Basma’s knowledge of the history and significance of the Pyramids and surrounding areas was impressive. She shared fascinating insights in a clear and engaging way that brought everything to life, making the experience both educational and deeply enjoyable. What stood out even more was how considerate she was of the hot weather. She was constantly mindful of our comfort, ensuring we stayed hydrated, took breaks when needed, and paced the day thoughtfully. Meena was an amazing guide - professional and great at engaging our children. Car was new and spacious air conditioned which was great. I don’t think I could rate this tour highly enough- particularly if you’re travelling to the pyramids with children.
Where do I start! It was a truly wonderful experience and could not have been better! Our guide for the pyramids was Donia, she was lovely, her knowledge vast and her company was excellent! We also visited the citadel with her too, like I said before we could not have wished for more! Our guide for the Egyptian and civilisation museums was Ahmed Nagy, it was like having an extended family member guide us around, he made sure we had the best photo ops and was always helpful and knowledgeable about all things. We also took a boat ride at sunset which was awesome. The highlight with Ahmed was at the bazaar, he took great care of us (especially my mother whom he treated as his own) words don’t do justice to the ease with which everything happened! We miss them both and if carlsberg made guides they would make these two!! I wouldn’t use anyone else, and I will recommend them to all who wish to travel to Cairo in the future! Thank you to them both, they made our trip a truly once in a lifetime experience. Thank you 💜

Good morning with Mohammed and team touring the pyramids, Sphinx and papyrus factory. Very relaxed and easy going. Got to see what we wanted at our pace.
I did the day tour of the pyramids, sphinx, market, and museum. My guide was Wael Saber who provided information in English on all the history. I really enjoyed the tour and was able to see and experience the main sights around Cairo. I highly recommend this tour and guide, Wael Saber.
What a lovely day and fabulous experience on this tour. My wife and I were met by Ali who looked after us throughout our day and was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the history of ancient Egypt whilst having so much fun at the same time! After an exciting morning at the pyramids we were taken for a lovely lunch and were able to visit some local sites before wondering around the treasure trove of bazaars that Old Cairo has to offer. The final destination for the day was The Egyptian Museum which was a perfect end to our day. I often struggle a little with museums but visiting as part of the tour was great. Ali took us to visit all of the highlights and key exhibits before we had time to wonder alone and take our time to explore ourselves. Any advice for future travellers??… don’t hesitate and book this tour!!
Great tour with Ali who was friendly and knowledgeable and ensured we didn’t get ripped off in the Bazaar or at the pyramids. Nice authentic Egyptian lunch and reasonably priced camel ride. Would highly recommend Ali and this tour.
